They are totally non related to eachother. The Covid year in essence never happened.
This is his fifth and final year which includes the Covid year. He never redshirted so he is done at the conclusion of the season.

glad we have the right guys in place to assess need/fit/talent... absolutely struck gold with Zuby / RJ / Scott / Dev / KR (obviously)... lot of "misses" on that list

Shows this staff truly deserve benefit of the doubt on passing up on guys, taking their time, and determining fitinteresting looking back at the final list from last season now...

FWIW - Trilly believes the portal will have noticeably less top tier talent this year compared to last year. Mostly due to COVID year guys finally being phased out
Along with teams realizing the importance of retention and more schools pouring assets into NIL.

Wonder how this shakes out for programs that seem to have abandoned high school recruiting.
I recall recent talk of allowing 5 years of eligibility. Was that just discussion or did it get put into effect ?
