2024-25 Season

Come on. I had seamlessly woven Ralph Nadar, Ayn Rand and Mark Zuckerberg into a benign, inoffensive post to all.

Censorship and no consumer protection? What a world.

Last week there literally wasn't an ounce of doubt in my body that we wouldn't win both Marquette and at Uconn.

I'm very confident Creighton Sunday and I'm predicting win at Nova but I'd be lying if I didn't say for some reason I'm getting a little antsy about the at Nova

If we get both thank God we have off for holiday on Monday so I can just stare at this site the entire day waiting for rankings. I'll probably be staring at 3am Sunday night waiting
let the records show at 3:21 pm Monday mjmaherjr was the first to state he was getting antsy about this game even though predicting a win.

What White Chocolate said today we can just forget about

Big time Receipt right here !!

Actually they had an option. Could have bought season tickets or the single game ticket when demand wasn't so high. In both cases, the money would have gone to SJU, the entitiy that is providing the ticket.

"Loyal" fans would have done those things, wouldn't you agree?
No, I wouldn't agree.

I've developed this tool I use before I form an opinion on anything. I look at an issue not from my perspective, but from the perspective of someone completely opposite me.

So, what about "Loyal" fans that are poor? We're out here driving Uber eats all day cleaning offices at night while trying to buy $7 a dozen eggs for our children. Season tickets are completely out of the realm of possibility and we didn't buy single game tickets when demand wasn't so high because our rent and car payment was due back then and we were hoping demand would drop and we could get them for less than face value. Which has been a good bet for years prior to this thus far season from heaven.

But then why would that poor person suddenly buy for the Seton Hall game and pay hundreds per ticket when they had the same opportunity for the last 20 years for cheaper including every game this season at CA and if they were buying 2 tix they still could have bought 2 for Creighton at msg taken an uber to the train station and home taken 2 train tix and bought 2 tix for the game in the 200's section and it would have cost less than 2 for the Seton Hall game

I'm all for the common folk but I don't feel bad on this one

They wouldn't. I switched from the fans that paid a lot for Alumni Hall Seton Hall tickets to discussing with 65 why loyal fans might not buy season tickets or full priced tickets in advance.

What's the arrangement for season ticket holders? Are we getting new tickets? Or just using the Alumni Hall tickets? Do we automatically get our regular MSG seats? Oops, there's a press release on the website with all the info. You get reg seats and new tix sent to your account.

People paid 2, 3, 4 hundred a ticket with the expectation of an Alumni Hall game. There is no comparable Msg location to that for a Seton Hall game.

Maybe??? You could go to Stubhub and say you want your money back because you didn't get what you paid for?
How many of those people brought those tickets just to see St. John’s?

Venue changes happen in the entertainment business. In professional sports, no because well, you are already playing at the top venue.

Yes this might inconvenience some but this an overall win for most.

Side note, Far be it from me to tell anyone what to do with their money but $200 let alone $400 per ticket for St. John’s vs Seton Hall at CA? People are paying that for this Sunday’s battle for 1st place against Creighton in the upper bowl.

Not a critique on any single player, just a snapshot of our 3 pt shooting to date sorted by attempts

I have recovered from the strain of the last minute of the game yesterday and as some predicted I am back to post today.

It seems like enough of a sample size to see that Scott, Luis and Wilcher just don’t have it. If they can get hot like last night at 33 percent that is an extra three a game.

You pay more on the secondary market when your team is winning no matter what team or sport. It sucks if you spent $300 a ticket at CA but it’s a win for most fans.

I thought that was when you were simultaneously on the Northern State and LIE and texting while about to go into ballistic road rage because the person in front of you was going too slow.

I clicked on the link and looked at this game plus the other two.

For a non secondary (inflated) pair only 400s left for Creighton. For UConn zip, zero, nada, sold out except for scattered singles. Not bored enough to count how many. Obviously still plenty available for SH as they just started sales.

I am staying relatively sane in remembering that in every loss the team had the ball in their hands with the chance to tie or win the game on their last possession. And being one of only 7 teams in the top 25 with 4 or less losses, though that doesn't include UCSD.
