Shocked New Mexico is not Holiday Festival game.

As an old school guy, I would love to see 4 locals go at it at MSG each year to revive the Holiday Festival
Each team would play two games
Any combination of St John's, Rutgers, Hofstra, Iona, Fordham, Manhattan, Stony Brook, Colgate, St Bonaventure, etc. would make a nice field
Much better than watching us play Central Connecticut State, New Hampshire, etc.

If ever there were a good spot for a "buy" game, it would be after the Georgia game. That's going to be a rough 8 days. I'm thinking that we all (players, coaches, fans) could use an easy one after that.

New Mexico will be very solid with CJ Noland coming in from North Texas playing next to Donovan Dent. They had a good freshman guard as well whose name I can't remember -- but he looked like a real player. Nelly Junior Joseph is back too I believe. A Toppin return would put them in the tournament or at least on the bubble.

New Mexico was a very talented team last season with absolutely no chemistry.
