Bench - Conway (1)
Bench - Davis (3)
Bench - Traore (3)
Bench - Keita (3)

Main targets as of now and where they slot in if they commit:
Mgbako (Lock to start at PF)
Ledlum (Lock to start at SF or PF)
Demary (Starts along Jenkins, both as Combo Guards)
Thomasson (Starts at SG or first G off the bench in instant offense type role)
Cormac Ryan (Likely starting SF)
Glenn Taylor (Could start at the 3 or be first wing off the bench)
Dunlap (Mid bench piece)
Meyer (Probably slots in between Davis and Traore)
RJ Luis is a wing I would like to get.

I don’t put anything past Pitino.
IMO unless grab at least 2 difference makers, just not an impressive roster.
Don’t disagree that currently it is not a lineup to be feared but let’s wait until it is completed. We are in good hands. Let’s give RP some time to do what he does.

Any concern that we will be needing multiple waivers so far?
Jenkins / Alleyne / Quinn all 2Time tranfers....
Not sure, but I thinksl Jenkins and Alleyne are Grad Transfers.
I think they'll still need waivers---but those are easier to get.
I think.
Lol.

Would love for Walter Clayton and Nelly Junior Joseph to join Rick in going from Westchester to Queens
crazy how it seems Rick's son jumped all over Nelly Joseph at the right time to steal one from his dad for New Mexico. Be cool to find out the story from Richard Pitino

Highly doubt Richard stole NJJ from his pops. For whatever reason I think Rick thought he wasn’t suited to play at this level and steered him to his son who is still in a good conference but a level down from the Big East. My guess is if Rick really wanted him here he’d be here

Just curious what BE coaches think of our roster. Listen I give Pitino 3 wins above what I would predict based off roster.
Maybe a few more than 3? when you think of the poorly coached, poor substitutions, poor use of TOs and poor closeout of games from CMA and prior staffs.
How many games have we won that we
“ should have “ lost?
Versus
How many games have we lost that we “should/could “have won?

All the best!

Again Pitino is miles ahead of Anderson. But not sure how you quantify that in wins. 3 seems aggressive. But if it is 3 that puts last year team on bubble. Any more than that and we are in. I would have liked to see him take more of last year team and enhance it through the portal. Think we make tournament that way.

Not going to lie, with each new recruit, losing the kids we did seems like a worse decision every time.

And people can’t have both ways, if the players were so bad, how was Anderson such a bad coach?
Which he was

Keita qualifies for a medical redshirt last year so he has four years of eligibility remaining.
