I think pitino is underestimating Posh and how Posh will play in his system. He is also overestimating those 2 guards from iona

Kid looks pretty damn good. How is he unranked? Pretty sure Pitino has great scouting sources all around the country but especially Kentucky. Kid looks solid.

No because all his kids on Iona were happy with him as a coach. He is going to run the program his way. He said this at his introduction. That you are either onboard or you are gone. It will work out there are over a thousand players in the portal. There are still quality kid in the 2023 class to recruit. He will get his fair share…
This is nothing new. He’s always been a “my way” guy. It won’t change with him at 70. He has a bit of Bobby Knight in there.

Best coach we have ever had. This is a bizarre start though.
I figure outside of Cal, Coach K maybe Gene Hackman, every other coach this board would be going berzerko if we had One good player , one 12th man and one 13th man on April 7

Nope. The kids we had arent very good. This is easy for him.
There is a reason we were terrible under CMA. And the players played a big part in that.
If this kid would be our back up pg for next season I would be very pleased. Good size, great athletic ability and outstanding scorer. He will learn to play D Coach Pitinos way.
We have sucked for several decades. We get the best coach out there and now people are worried? The fact that everybody is worried makes me believe that this is the exact direction we should be going. Sju fans of the last few decades don’t know about winning in the least. We will rebuild.
