Yup this Pitino guy seems to be quite the slacker
I’m always restless, I’m a defensive pessimist by nature.
If there are no roster additions for 23-24 in another week Gene goes from restless to Mean

Id like to see Pitino keep Jones. He seems to have big east talent but playing in Anderson’s half court offense was a total failure. Andersons offensive game plan of shooting if you feel it influenced Jones to either take a 30 ft jumper or take a bull rush to the rim.
He played as if he gave up the ball he had no chance of getting it back so he took one terrible shot after another and was left in the game so he never changed. Pitino will run offensive plays suited for the talents of his players and maybe he can make a productive player out of Jones.

If posh is expected to play point and play d I would expect him to buy in. He would be allowred to drive and dish. If rick has seen him play he's not going to offer him 6 min.

I believe Posh wants to stay. I do not believe that posh is going to want to compete with some big time transfers at his position that can shoot. As a player, you are behind the 8 ball when a new coach brings his own players in. Posh inability to shoot guarantees him 0 playing time.
He is better off at a mid major where he can run the show.

Pitino gave his timeline of 2-3 weeks for signings. There is no rush here. Let him see what he’s got talent and personality wise with the current roster. Let him see how they compete and how coachable they are. And I’m sure he wants to see first-hand how they approach school under him.
Then lineup the NIL stuff and see who else becomes available. Caleb Love and TJ Bamba just hit the portal in the last 48 hours. There will surely be more to follow.
He seems very relaxed in this process unlike regimes before him who just jumped on transfers immediately.
