Like Posh, not only would he have to buy-in to a more limited role, but also accept the fact that he is being recruited over immediately in the transfer portal, and I imagine RP will also bring in a couple of stud guards in the 2024 class, which would be his 5th and final season if he stays.
 
For guys like Jones and Curbelo who used their one transfer, there really should be coordination between the NCAA and the University to allow another transfer in this special circumstance. I don't think it comes up enough to potentially be abused, but it really amounts to a rug pull which doesn't seem fair.

I am pretty sure he is including the two remaining recruits as new kids so the 2-4 would be more likely 4-6. I wouldn't be surprised if at least two more don't leave though.

Shooting woes, huh? I was at the Elijah Ingram game at the dome. It was misery. Although, in retrospect the weirdest part of the game for me was Grady Reynolds missing a put back at the end of the game. I yelled in disgust ‘Just dunk the damn ball’ and then apologized for my language because there was a family in front of me. They mostly ignored me except for the little girl who couldn’t have been more than six who told me to ‘shut the f$ck up’. To this day she’s the only Syracuse fan I’ve ever meet that could string together an entire sentence.

I think Ingram was 2-21 from 3 point that day.

i had to threaten to roll some 12 year old Cuse fan’s dad during a game at the Garden during the Mullin era because the kid wouldn’t stop running his mouth at me.

You really think Rick Pitino is going to hold a player back from transferring who doesn’t want to be here at this point?? It seems more than clear that things are starting from scratch entering next season. Pitino won’t hold anybody back in any way.

I don't think StJohnsChris was referring to Pitino doing anything to hold back transfers, more referring to NCAA reluctance to grant a waiver from one year sit out rules for guys in their situation (Lord knows they've acted arbitrarily on this before).

If Ricky P dedcides he wants them back, that’s fine, he’s the Hall of Fame coach. But, I want to see some signings.
