Trevino swung at a 2-0 pitch that completely changed that at bat. The Red Sux tried to hand this game to the Yanks and they didn't take it.

torres and dj are the 2 yanks i want to see in key at bat.
perhaps i should rethink my vision.

Yankee teams have not been built for playoffs in years. They are built to draw crowds and sell tix and mdse. This team in 2022 is closest I’ve seen to a playoff team because of the pitching and defense. But once pitching took a dive we become exposed offensively

A laugher!! Much needed after the games of the past week. Carpenter has been unbelievable, and Judge jacked 2 more tonight. The less we see of Gallo, Donaldson and Higashioka, the better we'll be. Where is Andujar? Why was Taillon taken out after only 79 pitches?
 
Time for the Yanks to get serious pursuing Soto. I'm thinking Donaldson, Gallo and Higashioka to start. Add Chapman and we have a deal.

Carpenter is just on every pitch every at bat! He was left for dead by 4 other teams before Yanks picked him up!
 
Time to be serious today. No "B" lineup. Nobody "needs a day" off. With the break coming up, use the entire roster and figure out a way to get the series win. Gave away Friday's game, no reason to give away the series. Our ace needs to step up today. Don't let Devers get in his head.

As good as Carpenter has been, how is Stanton not in against the lefty Sale? Is he hurt? This from a manager who is supposed to take this team to a WS win. Never happen.
