2022 Yankees

Judge may need to start fighting some of these strike zone battles himself.

He never says anything to the umps, and I think it costs him sometimes. The men in blue hear it from most players anytime they call a strike on a hitter, ever. Since Judge never says anything to these guys, I think they have it in the back of their minds, that they can call out Judge, and not get an argument. It's not intentionally done by the umps, but I think it is called that way (a subliminal message, you might say).

MLB needs to adjust the strike zone again to get some more hitting back. Maybe lower the high strike.

MLB needs to adjust the strike zone again to get some more hitting back in the game. Pitching has become too dominant. Maybe lower the high strike.
 
when the ump blew that low pitch call and boone came out, $99 did "bark" at the plate ump over that crappy call. yes. $99 rarely complains to the humps.

Walking the light hitting Diaz was the killer. Also, Donaldson and Gallo are automatic outs right now. Can't stand the cheating Astros. Listening to Boone in the postgame, it is obvious he has no answers regarding Gallo. Astros will be a problem in a short series. Yanks have not figured out their starting pitchers at all.
 
Have never seen a hitter make less contact with the baseball than Gallo! But he looks like a hitter before his at bat with all his nuances and prep and then …..flop! Maybe he’s just an actor playing a baseball player!

And it's still raining in Cleveland. Unlike you guys, I only get a few opportunities to see the Yanks once a year. BS, friggin' rain.
