Would have preferred Bryant. Baez will probably get injured this weekend when Amir powerbombs him. I just wish we came up with Berrios. So many unknowns with the rotation. 
 
Good pick up.  22 hrs 65 rbi.  Driving in runs.     Definitely a Mets need
on the other hand Mets need a pitcher

Was really hoping for a pitcher even with Carrasco coming back. Walker seems to be hitting a wall and looks like he could use some rest.  I agree with you that Baez will help as well.

I like Baez and he certainly upgrades SS while Lindor is out. Offense has struggled all year he should help against lefties but is still a high strikeout low on base guy so will see how it helps. I wonder how long they knew about deGrom setback. 
All that said I don't think I would have traded Crow-Armstrongs career for two months of Baez unless I thought a real chance at World Series. With the strength of the NL I don't see that happening especially if no deGrom.
 
 
Mets continue to patch together a pitching staff with cast offs and deep bullpen and same with the batting order.  In the 9th, I said to my wife they should walk Smith but Reds didn't and he came through.  What a job they got from Diaz in the 10th.  Then Drury comes through in bottom of the inning.  You just can't turn off the game when they are close late in the game; another great come from behind win last night.  "You Gotta Believe"

I agree except they agreed to overpay Rocker so they underdrafted players the rest of the draft to make up that money. Hopefully didn't miss out on future stars they otherwise would have drafted.
 
 
Our bats suck.  It is so frustrating watching them strike out, hit into the shift and double plays.  It's just not enjoyable to watch.  It was fun when the bench mob would come in and win games.  At least those guys were putting the bat on the ball.  
 
Painful to watch in every aspect of the game including the free agent catcher who has trouble catching the ball on close plays.
 
 
I just cut the cord and finally got a smart TV. 

What's the best way to watch SNY?  

I also want MSG for the Knicks. 

What's the most affordable service?
