2020 Giants Football

I have never been impressed with Engram. As far as I am concerned he is overrated. We win last night if he catches Brown's last pass to him. How many more dropped balls are we going to put up with .Totally overrated!

Markus Golden traded to ARZ for 6th rounder.

Was going to be FA after the year. Giants save 2 plus million in carryover cap and the cap might be going down next year. He wasn't getting enough snaps under this new staff. Smart move.

Totally agree. He has a tantalizing combination of speed and size, but he's just not a gamer. I would sit him for a week. Let him decide if he wants to be a starting TE in this league. In addition to the drops, the guy also misses his share of blocking assignments.

As Dickie V would say, he's an All-Airport type of player.

Will Hernandez has Covid. Rest of line sent home with 2 coaches as well for precautions

Time to draft a new quarterback and get rid of Gettleman. This kid doesn't learn from his mistakes, holding onto the ball too long. not downing it in time, and throwing off his back leg. Too many fumbles and interceptions. Probably better as a backup.

Jones reminds me how I did not like Phil Simms his first several years. He learned his trade and faired very well.

Amen--terrible draft pick (c'mon a QB from Duke--get real). The one point "win" over the Skins could be a HUGE loss in the race to the first draft pick as the Jets don't look like they are going to give up that position.

Interesting comparison. I can see that.

Interesting comparison...

Looks like Engram tried his best to lose yesterdays game against Washington, dropping a pass in the fourth quarter(which would have brought us close to hitting a field goal) and a pick penalty after a very big gain .How about announcer Vilma saying Engram was a great receiver.

I think Engram has been called for 5 offensive pass interference calls in half a season.

and after he dropped a pass he said he very rarely does that...HUH?

No one probably thinks this is possible, but If the giants win their next two (Eagles, Bengals) they are right there haha

I'm not big on engram, but didn't he lay out for a TD vs the Skins? Gotta give him credit there

What a year! Giants 3-7 and in the hunt for NFC East title. 2020 oye.

Careful for what you wish for, 6-10 could mean the nfc title and Mara might see the playoffs as a successful season and retain Gettleman, no one wants him back.

Interesting dilemma.

If you are a Giants fan, would you be prefer winning the division at 6-10, being eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs, and picking in the 17th slot in next years draft, ...or would you rather go 4-12 and end up picking 4th, 5th or 6th?
