I take sports for granted sometimes. I love basketball so much.

Tonight when the NBA got suspended and the threat of March madness being canceled became very real, i had a moment for about 25-30 minutes where I was really really bummed.

Sports are everything for a lot of people. Stress relief, watch games and share the experience with people close to you, escape from reality for a little bit. It’s tough to lose it. I understand there are lives at stake and much more important matters at hand, but I just want to say for those really bummed that we may lose MM and NBA for the year, I hear you and I’m with you.
 
DePaul beat Xavier 71-67. I'm surprised, but glad that DePaul is ending the season on a high note. It's their first BE tournament game win since 2014.

They play Villanova next. That's going to be a tough game for DePaul.

That was DePaul’s first Big East Tournament win since 2014. Entertaining game vs Xavier.

Pretty much only thing keeping Big East from being peer pressured into canceling right now is the ACC not canceling yet. Let's see who flinches first.

Tournament cancelled because the refs were not calling enough fouls on us in the first half. They couldn’t chance us winning the tournament. :p

This is yet another reason why the NCAA needs to appoint a college basketball commissioner. Ridiculous that every conference had to announce it is canceling, rather than one uniform statement.
