2019 Transfers

WVU always seems to do good with top 125 PFs. Usually good for tough PGs who I assume are in the 100-200 range. When they hit upon a stud at SF is when they seem to go far in tournament.

That was pretty much my point. I see them lists with higher level kids than usual.

Also just saw Mississippi state just got 3 years probation, so this makes more sense him leaving.

With the start of classes about a week away, assume it's safe to say we are not going to use the Eli schollie this year?

Correct, if we were going to use it on an immediately eligible player, he would have to enroll for the Fall semester.

If they don't use it, I will take it as an exercise in prudence and not the result of complacency.

Marrow Bones Hampton at Last Minute!

Per Borzello, he is a sit one, play one transfer
He would not be eligible to play in 2019-20

The timing seems odd. Almost like he was waiting to see if he was considered a grad transfer after taking classes in summer.

Agree - news just came out, still possible he's eligible. I'm hearing UVA rumblings, ain't gonna compete with the champs.

This is nuts lol

@DraftExpress

Just 7 months after transferring from St. Louis to DePaul, it appears that former USA Basketball Top-100 recruit Carte'Are Gordon may be on the move again. His name appeared in the NCAA transfer portal today. Bizarre timing after playing well in Italy on DePaul's preseason tour.

I mean there’s no chance he could reunite with Van, right?

I think he can't transfer to another BE school.
