2019 Coaching Changes

Tulane has parted ways with Mike Dunleavy Sr
Feel for Tony Chiles, out of a job again
I'm sure he'll land on his feet, somewhere.

His rep is that of a very good recruiter, and going by when he was here, he seemed like a good guy.

All Hallows HS & Columbia grad and yes, very good guy.

Any talk of changes in Jamaica, that are credible?

Hmmm I know a program that could use a recruiter with local ties in the worst way. We could do a hell of a lot worse than not bringing Tony back on staff. And having met him a few times I agree with Paultzman that he is a very good guy.

IF we do make some changes to the Staff and I think that's the sensible step to take for next season, Mike Dunleavy and Tony Chiles would seem to be solid candidates to put into the mix.

Rumors starting to swirl that Bill Self is going to leave Kansas at the end of this season, possibly taking the Bulls job. Things might start to get real ugly at Kansas if the FBI investigation yields results.
You're already going to have big jobs like Zona and LSU open most likely. In addition to UCLA. If Kansas opens with Zona and LSU all 3 will have clouds over them but still will be desirable and the jockey for coaches will be intense.
Look no further than Louisville

There should be, but I don't think it's in the cards. All I know is when these words come out of a coach's mouth, there's a problem.

“I told my guys to take a break,” St. John’s coach Chris Mullin said, when asked his plans for the next few days. “They need a break mentally, physically, a little break from each other, and we’ll get back together Sunday.”

When asked to state his team’s case for the tournament, Mullin declined, taking a different tact than most coaches on the bubble. “No politicking,” he said. “I stay out of politics.”
Goodman
Sources: Ohio is hiring Jeff Boals, Stoneybrook HC
He's done a great job at Stony Brook but is going home to coach Ohio
Stony Brook is a decent job and should get some quality candidates

"Fact" that Nutsy wrote it, or "fact" that Hurley's getting the job?

It is a fact if this job becomes available. Hurley probably wants to come back East, uconn is not coming to the BE (so there will be no conference games against Danny, and of course the Duke connection with our AD.
