Honestly though, who cares what anonymous clowns say on social media? I want Cam and look forward to watching him play here. However to post a tweet like she did is kind of ridiculous. If she watched any of the games she would've seen the love and support the actual fans show the players.

So Zach and others reporting that Matt A likely gone. And the probable m replacements are not very impressive. Tom Pecora, Ed Pickney, Derrick Phelps ans Mark Hsu.

Sju should move to quick decisions on coaching staff changes. Starting to get the same taste in my mouth that I had when Lavin was on way out.

Would be comfortable with any candidates mentioned being brought on. Would like local flavor though.

For transfers how about Stony brook kid?


On another note thoughts on Willard to VaTech possibility?
 
We could certainly do a lot worse, but I am not doing cartwheels over Ed Pinckney. It's been a long time since he's been in the college game (2007). Plus, he's yet another longtime Mullin buddy.

Give me Hsu (as long as clean) & Phelps to replace Matt & GSJ and I'd be ecstatic. Hsu has recruited successfully in some very tough places. As for Phelps, Queens kid, MCDonald's All America with NCAA championship pedigree and four very sold years with UNC. Not only that, has several solid years AC experience. Hire those two, give Chris a two year extension if he is really committed and groom Phelps as his successor. A lot more potential there than with GSJ imho. That could start to give us the kind of continuity we envy in schools like Xavier. Just my two cents looking from the outisde.

Good thoughts NCJ, except unless necessary to get Hsu, Phelps or others, I don’t think Chris deserves an extension at this point.
Plenty of time to extend him ‘next year ‘ if successful with new AC’s imo.
 
Whoever the new assistants are, they have to be committed and diligent. Chris does not want to recruit.

Why are we waiting to get at least a new assistant, if not assistants, forget forcing someone out, we all knew Matt A was leaving. Are we even look yet, my hunch tell me no. No need to rush right Mullin, got all the time in the world.

If they extend Chris Mullin it tells me that there is no interest in putting a winning team on the court. I will be a former fan after 5 1/2 decades. Perhaps challenging for last place in the conference will be enough to finally clean house.
