Bruh, he’s not even projected to be drafted right now. Come back in 2019 with that nonsense.

2018 ( undrafted)

Has that stopped the countless players from leaving ever before ?
And that has also led countless players to stay. Your point? Hell, why you think Angel Delgado stayed with the Hall? He was told he was going to be a late second round pick, and he decided to stay for that exact reason. This has been well documented. Why do you think Grayson Allen came back to Duke?
The point is guys will leave. Guys will stay. Everyone has their own reasons for declaring, transferring, changing jobs, etc. Just because a website doesn't project him doesn't mean he won't listen to a shark agent promising him the world

Not a 2017-2018 transfer, but didn't want to start a new thread for this.

Former Johnnie Yankuba Sima having a good game for OK State against Kansas - 11 points, 2 rebounds in first half. OK State down 1 at half; in NCAA if they beat Kansas for a third time.
Agreed Austour. Oklahoma State is a tough tough team with some very good wins and finished the season well. Oklahoma on the other deteriorated as the season went on

They should be in regardless. Their cross state rivals shouldn't be based on the putrid way they finished the season.

Oklahoma just imploded after a good first half.

Kennesaw State’s leading scorer, James Scott, a 6-foot-3 sophomore shooting guard, is transferring. He averaged 17.3 ppg this year.

Son of former Johnny, James Scott

Interesting. Was a 2* Star out of HS. Great sophomore year.

Per JucoRecruiting.com
Danya Kingsby (6'2, CG, 2018) of College of Southern Idaho has requested his release from Pitt @D_Kingsby2

Had signed with Pitt in November last year I think. Good stats: 47.6% FG%, 40% fro 3-pt land, 1.7-1 A/TO ratio.

Not saying whether we should go after him or not, or stop going after offsprings but we haven’t been successful with getting former player’s offsprings here gong back to Leron Ellis (son of Leroy Ellis) who we didn’t get coming out of high school or when he transferred to one of our rivals.

Adonis De Larosa had a double double last night for Kent St in the MAC tournament

Question I have is—if Shamorie stays, do we need more guards with Trimble coming back—or is he—and Dixon and Greg W. on board?
Which is one of the reasons I was surprised by Trey McGowen’s visit.
As some other posters have conjectured—it may be the Staff viewing other guard options, just-in-case Shamorie jumps to the pros regardless of the NBA’s ultimate evaluation of whether he’s ready.

Totally agree. Assuming we bring back the core four along with Ketia, Dixon, Williams, Roberts & ME, would think we would only be interested in another guard if Trimble is leaving, which possibility I don't discount based on last two games. Just can't see Shamorie leaving. Let's get that big man!

McGowens is a 19 recruit so I don't think current roster should have much of an impact on our recruiting him. Our fan base seems to do this a lot - the "do we need Good Player X when we already have Mediocre Players Y and Z"? Trimble shouldn't be stopping us from going after anybody whether he wants to be here or not.

McGowens is a ‘19 recruit—having reclassified from this year—but the scuttlebut was that he might be reconsidering for this year. Truly, I have no clue if that’s true—but I read it and it’s the buzz.

I'll never forget when LeRon was transferring he was considering 4 schools and we were one of them and I really wanted us to get him-who doesn't want a legit big at 6'11. Then he announced he was cutting one school from his list and had it down to 3 schools. You'll never guess which school he cut-you guessed it, our beloved Johnnies. Always wondered why he went out of his way to announce we were the one school he was no longer considering instead of just announcing his choice when he was ready. Probably were ticking of recruits even when back then LOL (Jason Fraser et.al.). Had a friend that has since passed who every time you told him some news he already knew would respond "Anything about LeRon Ellis". Ah, memories.

If I recall correctly, he had two disappointing, so-so seasons at Cuse. Not close to being the player his dad was (who, by the way, should have his jersey hanging from CA rafters), as has beens the case of the majority of these "son of" players..
