Ben Gordon was an absolutely, terrific player! The mere mention of his name always gives me PTSD flashbacks and reminds me that we could have had him at SJU but the genius Mike Jarvis passed on him because he wanted Willie Shaw instead. Having watched both of them in High School, it made me think that Jarvis was 100% out of his mind on that one.

That all said, Tonight's terrific win is making traumatic memories of past SJU disasters like that fade into the distance.
Was probation aware of his whereabouts?

This is one of the dumber things I’ve ever read on here. If Karaban and Mahaney are “zeros” then your player analysis was awful — that’s essentially what correctly predicting a team’s success comes down to.

Also, Karaban isn’t a zero by any stretch. The UConn guard play is terrible. Hassan Diarrhea has been awful. Solo Ball and Karaban depend on others to play their best.
You think posh alexander is good and daniss jenkins isnt. You are clueless.

The last thing you should do here is question anyones opinion.

Unless that results in UConn suffering the pain equivalent to the heat of 1,000 suns, no one here cares.

This is may be a good discussion for the boneyard.
Agree, after having the misfortune of attending last years UConn game at the Garden, and dealing with their a$$ wipe fans, these’s no amount of pain they get which will quench my thirst for blood.
😂👍

I like Gus. He has always been a favorite of mine. Yes he gets overly excited, but he was excited for SJU after the game too.
He was awful all night. At one point he had Wilcher throwing a pass over Wilcher's head. SMDH Maybe it was just a bad night.

Agree 100%. I don't watch SEC basketball religiously, but I watch enough of it that I can tell you nobody in that league plays defense like we do. And anybody who's coached or played can tell you: you can scout an opponent , you can tell your team about their defense, you can try to re-create it in practice...when you get on the court with them it's a whoooole different ballgame. Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee? Bring them on. We can beat any of them.
Watched Auburn Florida game today and i agree, not anywhere near our defense!

Creighton scares me more now than they did in December. I really wish we had that one. Kalkbrenner really does neutralize our mid-range and in the paint game. Going to need to make that game a track meet.
Kalkbrenner is very slow afoot, think we can beat him midrange
