Your player scouting skills suck then. You made the call Nostradamus, just own it, can the blame and learn. You are still not admitted to SJU bandwagon quite yet.My prediction was contingent on mahaney and karaban not being complete scrubs. They are.
My prediction is wrong not because of me, its because of those 2 zeros.
My prior screen name was The Duke of Earlington. Ive earned my spot buddy.Your player scouting skills suck then. You made the call Nostradamus, just own it, can the blame and learn. You are still not admitted to SJU bandwagon quite yet.![]()

He is not a PG and that is pat of their problem. Against teams that play defense like us and Marquette, it really shows and hurts them.Diarra adequate PG but not what UConn is used to
They talked about it and showed highlights last night. This morning it was it was about today’s games and the Super Bowl which is normal for Saturday mornings (football in general).Btw I do have 1 beef with ESPN, not a single mention SJU on Sportcenter this morning, talk about big conference bias!!!!! We were on top new scrolling on the bottom!
He is but he has a soft spot for us as he covered us for the NY Post in the 80’s and was a constant at games and some practices during 84/85 and 85/86 and probably up to the time he moved over to the Daily News.Isn’t he a fordham guy?
After last night, people are asking “Where’s the beef.”
It was Wendy’s taking shots at McDonald’s and Burger King regarding the size of their burgers.I believe that one was Wendy's not McDonald's!
I remember all of them however I missed the Pitt game.I remembered the Nova/Duke duo but thought those were consecutive weeks, which they were. As always, ESPKen has the technically correct answer. Though it's a crazy answer, I have no memory of those games somehow. But I may have erased much of the Norm Error from my memory banks.
Wet blanket alert on a day that clearly deserves no wet blanket: Why have Ayo and Glover on the floor when we're holding for one shot at the end of the half. Coach doing this a lot lately and it isn't working. Risk of a starter getting a 3rd foul being an offensive foul is sufficiently low. If it's not the lineup we would have in holding for one at the end of a tight game, and it's not, then we shouldn't use it first half either.
This is one of the dumber things I’ve ever read on here. If Karaban and Mahaney are “zeros” then your player analysis was awful — that’s essentially what correctly predicting a team’s success comes down to.My prediction was contingent on mahaney and karaban not being complete scrubs. They are.

Really bad set up to that pass. Ayo was going to flush it.During the timeout I did notice that Coach was exclusively speaking with Ayo, which caught my eye. They ran a back screen for a lob to Ayo. Everything except the pass was ran to perfection. Unfortunately the Pass was deflected or the half would have ended with a dunk by Ayo.
What play?I attended a play last night, “happy wife, happy life” approach and recorded game. Very late after getting home, I watched it, but confess when Ball was on fire and we were down 14, I was tempted to get some Zs. My conscience kicked in & I hung in there thankfully. Lesson learned![]()
There appeared on TV to be a nice contingent behind our bench. Thanks for going! Didn't look like there were many of us there.
The RinkWhat play?
I would have asked him if he watched the game last night?I saw a guy in the supermarket wearing a UConn back to back national champs sweatshirt. I really wanted to ask him how his Friday night was. I didn’t. Maybe it’s maturing in my old age.
I read that and said “So that’s his first name”. I never really thought about it.During Rick’s presser he kept referring to Reggie. After a while I figured out he was talking about RJ. I tried to find his full name but Google couldn’t help.
Second to this team's Defense, Artest's teams?Larry guess you are not a fan of great defense and wouldn’t have liked the great Knick teams of the 90s. This is my 60th season of watching St. John’s basketball and this is the best defensive team and by far the toughest I’ve had the pleasure of watching.
