I don’t get a pass having just turned 100 years old?The honesty is all well and good but your legitimacy as a hardcore fan must now come into serious question.

They definitely have the best sauce I have ever hadGreat music too
I am going to, wife and daughter in tow. My wife is a huge Deivon Smith fanI’m going to that game. I think we sell out garden for it at this point
My phone would have been on my lap watching stat broadcast!!was seized
They’re close to the bubble now me thinks.Crazy what-if: McNeeley never de-commits from Indiana.
All of a sudden, Woodson has a fringe top 20 team and keeping his job. UConn, who probably gets Brea instead, lacks any dynamism in their offense and is bubble team.
Willie went on to have a nice career with the Globetrotters! Seriously.Ben Gordon was an absolutely, terrific player! The mere mention of his name always gives me PTSD flashbacks and reminds me that we could have had him at SJU but the genius Mike Jarvis passed on him because he wanted Willie Shaw instead. Having watched both of them in High School, it made me think that Jarvis was 100% out of his mind on that one.
That all said, Tonight's terrific win is making traumatic memories of past SJU disasters like that fade into the distance.
Yes also going to the game alsoI’m going to that game. I think we sell out garden for it at this point
There’s six tickets left in lower bowl. I think it’ll end up being more than fine
Was wondering where your commentary was. Good husband.I attended a play last night, “happy wife, happy life” approach and recorded game. Very late after getting home, I watched it, but confess when Ball was on fire and we were down 14, I was tempted to get some Zs. My conscience kicked in & I hung in there thankfully. Lesson learned![]()

You know , I was thinking what is so special about McNeeley?
I know it was his first game back but , he didn’t show me NBA talent last night .
He got more than a fair amount of favorable Whistles too.
Like when he goes hard to the hoop, he will get blocking fouls instead of a charge on him .
Maybe I missed something that Scouts see ?
I would think they came away from the game with a increased interest in RJ .
It wasn’t KR’s best game but , he turned it up a level in the second half . His contribution did a lot to win the game .
Apparently other issues as well
I was thinking this as well. Of course, we need to be somewhat fair. He is a Freshman. I get it doesn’t matter as much today. Hell some guys are in the NBA at his age. Professional scouts are watching all the time. Seen him in HS, access to practices etc. They are projecting. He has all the measurable. Size and skills. He can shoot. He is a good FT shooter. He is also coming back from injury. So there is some rust. I also don’t think his teams PG play is helping him right now.
Ok enough with me complimenting Yukon players. I think our DEFENSE covered him like a thick RED, wet blanket. He clearly got some bullshit calls as he charged into the fray out of control because he was clearly frustrated. Very few open looks as our defensive rotations were a thing of beauty. This is what good defenses can do with relentless effort.
We are peaking 25 years too late.Anybody else wake up in a cold sweat thinking "WE'RE PEAKING TOO SOON!!!!"
Sorry, ptsd from 25 years of helpless, hapless bball.
I actually know guy from my church who went to Creighton. It's pretty tough to get to Omaha from New York - no direct flights. If youre a creighton fan and live 2 hours from Omaha, it takes a day to fly to new york. That surprises me. Granted I’m sure there won’t be a big Creighton fan presence. Figure tickets will start getting bought up after last night
Zuby screen was key. I’m always wary on the road that refs will call him for moving. Big time design by Coach Walsh and execution by our 5 on the floor. The shot he made with 3 seconds on the shot clock , with Zuby’s Screen was other Wordly .
What a play that was designed . And , as good as the screen was , he still had to make the shot .
SWISH!
We had a strong up and coming coaching prospect then who was improving every season.7 years ago this week they beat #4 Duke and #1 Nova. This com8ng off an 11 game losing streak. That was insane
And my guess is that Luis had the option of going to the basket if McNeely trailed him or popping if he tried to go under, which is what happened. Great play call, great read and great execution. It's a good day to be a St. John's fan.Coach Bob Walsh gets a game ball for his last possession out of bounds play with 3 seconds on the clock. Apparently calls all out of bounds plays, a key responsibility.
With only 3 seconds Luis came off the baseline behind a Zuby pick. Breaking hard towards the middle McNeely had no choice but to overplay in that direction to stop the pass in a wide open middle. Once he committed, Luis cut back quickly behind a great pic by Zubs, caught an easy inbounds pass for a wide open look that he buried. McNeely was hopelessly stuck behind the pick.
McNeely's guess was much like a tennis players guessing after a lob where his opponent will hit an overhand. Guess right and the play is busted, but in this case guessing there was another option if RJ broke over the middle or was covered.
It worked so great because it was bang bang to create a shot in 3 seconds.
Kudos to Coach Walsh using his Regis smarts.
Now, watch I am wrong about who drew that up.
