19-20 Transfers

Another impactful grad transfer hits the portal: Purdue 7-foot-3 center Matt Haarms. He has significant NCAA Tournament experience and can be a real handful in the paint. Averaged 8.6 PPG, 4.6 RPG this past year. Will be highly sought after.

The "Hook and Hold" guy.

Not sure that Haarms would have been a good fit for CMA's system
He's big, pretty good in the post and blocks shots but he's a plodder
I question whether he would thrive in the 40 minutes of hell system
CMA seems to like more mobile guys

Shocked :)

Alabama and Nebraska are amongst the early programs that have reached out to Ohio State transfer Luther Muhammad, a source told @Stockrisers.

Jeff Borzello 1m
Michigan sophomore guard David DeJulius is officially in the transfer portal, sources told ESPN. Former ESPN 100 prospect averaged 7.0 points last season for the Wolverines.

Salt Lake Community College guard Justice Hill just committed time Murray State, a source tells @Rivals.

Former Arkansas guard that was named his region’s player of the year.

Bryce Aiken is one of the top graduate-transfers available this offseason. The Harvard star is down to a final four of Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan and Seton Hall and a decision is expected in the coming days.

Seton Hall has long been the expected landing spot for Aiken since he entered the transfer portal and nothing has changed since then. Maryland’s name has also gained some traction, while Iowa State and Michigan seem to be involved with some of the best transfers this spring.

Would be a very solid answer to losing Powell.

Looking at Aiken's stats, seems like only year he played a full season was his first. 7 games this year, 18 and 14 games his second and third years. Assuming he's had a lot of injury problems.

Aiken and Seth Towns both had injury problems. Amaker brought in a ranked recruiting class four years ago but his two best recruits were not healthy a lot of the time.

Muhammad, who reeled in interest from more than 20 schools, is down to Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Seton Hall, Arizona State, UCLA, West Virginia and New Mexico.

Great high school stats and 7 ppg in a major conference as a freshman feels like the kid can be a total stud if he went the mid-major route.

Some BE teams should get a sense where they stand soon;

There are a bevy of transfer commitments by the day it seems, so let’s go with seven of the more impactful decisions that could soon be on tap:

Bryce Aiken is not far off from his decision. He is down to a final four of Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan and Seton Hall; look for a commitment by the end of the week.

Darius Perry should be committing this week. The schools involved include Colorado, Georgia, Iowa State, Seton Hall, UCF and Virginia.

Jamarius Burton cut his list last week to a final five of Marquette, Ohio State, Seton Hall, Texas Tech and Xavier. The latter two have the best chance.

Alex O’Connell is near a decision, too, with Dayton, Georgia and Memphis among the many involved.

Wichita State center Morris Udeze is expected to decide in the coming days, and Arizona State, Butler, Minnesota, Seton Hall and Xavier make up his final five.

Look for Trey Wertz to make his decision shortly. He has cut his list to a final seven of Arizona, Butler, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Virginia.

Finally, Jordan Bruner and his impending decision was addressed above.

The pg from Columbia is transferring. He was by far the best player on the floor when we played them early in the season. I was wondering why a kid this good is playing for columbia.

He will be a great get for someone. I hope its not seton hall who is looking at him.

Who could ever think of a reason to value an Ivy League degree?
