19-20 Schedule
Yes some cupcakes on there but plenty of opportunities for good wins. Also important to remember the BE will be much stronger giving plenty of opportunities for quality wins.
Every high major team plays a few cupcakes
We can't sleep on those games either - we've lost a few in the past
Overall, our OCC schedule is stronger than in recent years
Combined with a stronger Big East, our schedule is at a fair level of difficulty

Believe we are now having a big east/big 12 series which will help both conferences in that we each have the same number of members.

Also I like that we are not playing a major out of conference game in the middle of BE season. I always felt that took a bit out of the team vis a vis conference schedule.
Has the Big East - Big Ten challenge ended or are we not in it this year?
So the Gaviit games are on , we”re just not in it this year.

Not as great of a schedule as it would appear to the untrained eye if you ask me. Still lots of crap at the bottom weighing it down.
Great analysis of a TOUGH schedule.LOL

Appears to be a decent, intelligently constructed schedule with a few soft games to start to give MA a chance to get his rotation and style of play established.
I'd be very happy with 16-17 regular season wins and a potential NIT berth.
An NIT berth next year would be a very successful season IMO

Zona an opponent this season

Arizona point guard Brandon Williams will miss the 2019-20 season after undergoing knee surgery, sources confirmed to ESPN. Averaged 11.4 points and 3.4 assists last season.

It probably will be a noon start, since the Knicks play Indiana that night.

Last season's schedule was released September 13th.

The Big East is traditionally one of the last conferences to announce their schedule, because they need to wait for the NBA and NHL schedules to be complete, before they can do anything (and the NBA likes to wait until the free agent dust settles, before they make a schedule). Since we have a lot of teams who play in pro arenas, we are generally at their mercy, scheduling wise.

That being said, I think the Big 10 is the only league that has announced a schedule so far, so we're not much later then most, at least not this year.

There are some early acc that areh
Announced. 2 on nov 5th & 6th, but not sure if the acc released their full schedule.

If you look at your ticket account if you have season tickets, all of the CA games are in there already with dates. This includes Big East games in Queens against Providence, Creighton, and Butler on New Years Eve. Not sure if those are official or not but it would seem to make sense.

Heard SJU has five BE road games in initial eight.
