No easy to get to weekend roadtrips in conference. Providence,Gtown and Nova all during the week. A lot of out MSG games are weekends which isn't bad

Six noon starts this year, so those who don't like that will be ticked off. 2 of them are at CA, which is really going to be tough.

Vermont game on 11/16 is at 4 pm. Have Elton John at the Nassau Coliseum at 8. Probably too close for comfort, for me. Honestly, 6 or 8 pm would have been better, because then I know I wouldn't make it.

So if Steere is not cleared would he be eligible for Butler since that is after semester ends? Or would he still have to sit since it is technically before semester begins?

It usually takes effect at the end of the semester, so I believe he will be eligible starting with the Albany game.

Seton Hall on a Sunday afternoon is not too bad. That's not a roadtrip, but still an away game.

Finally playing at Creighton on a weekend! I hear great things! Hopefully am able to make it out

You always have mohegan for two games!
New Year's Eve at 730 in Queens. Ugh

Super Bowl Sunday at MSG vs. Gtown.
I actually kind of like the New Year's Eve game, but I understand why most people don't.

The way I see it, I'll get home just in time for The Honeymooners. SJU and The Honeymooners is not too bad of a way to end the year.

As an aside, the pressure will be on us, in that game. With 5 out of 7 on the road after that, and the next two against good teams, a loss to Butler means that we could be digging another deep hole in conference play.

Interesting that we're playing DePaul in the Garden but not Providence...Feels premature to predict these things when we haven't seen half of our guys play but the league is so tough this year. 7 or 8 wins would be a strong showing for what expectations of us seem to be.

Also, we already knew the ooc but I really like that we have some games against bigger schools. 3 games against Arizona St, West Virginia and Arizona with a possible 4th against Virginia is wonderful. The OOC isn't a back breaker but there's enough names on there that we won't have to defend it to anyone. I can easily see us dropping that Vermont game so hopefully Coach can frame that one to the guys as their first big test. I think that game could be the early indicator of what type of team we have on our hands.

The 18th is the last day of finals. Not sure if that makes him eligible that day or not but hope you're right. Definitely eligible for AZ in SFO. Would have gone up for the night but I will be traveling to NY that day at some point for a trip home for the holidays, and will be gone by NYE so I'd miss Butler too. Looks like it might be a dry year this year.

Maybe that's why we made the game an 8:30 start? Would the semester technically be over if we started later?

Either way, it will be one of those two dates.
