Around the Big East

To be fair, no team came close to beating them in that tournament (or last years) so a miracle doesn’t seem accurate. Do I agree that they aren’t as good as last year, yes. But I’m not ready to say they aren’t a title contender again.

Also, Karaban is a lock for all conference
Karaban isn't even the best player on his team. AJ, Kalkbrenner, Dixon, Jones and Conwell/Freemantle will round out the All-Conference team.
BTW, a team winning the tournament having finished 5th is their conference is a miracle.

UConn's got their top 3 guys shooting 38% or better from three. No one in our starting lineup is doing better than 33%. If we don't guard the three point line better, we can get beat good. ... I do think we'll improve by then but they're definitely a contender.

They entered the big east tournament that year as the 11th ranked team in the country 😂

A top 15 team winning the tournament isn’t a miracle. That is absurd. They finished tied for 4th in the conference and three really good teams were above them that year

He and Stevie Mitchell are affirmation of college hoops being a guards game;

Watched Marquette beat a very good underrated Maryland team at Maryland and then last nights impressive win vs #6 Purdue who is also very good. Marquette will wear you down and their passing and movement without the ball is awesome. Kam of course does it all and is All American material.

Have you seen who they beat? They finished 5th in the conference 2 years ago and pulled a miracle to win it all. They had 4 of their starters drafted into the NBA last season. They returned only Karaban, who won't even be All-Conference this season. Diary this post for mid-March.
I remember 2 years ago when they lost sanogo and jackson and hawkins and everyone said, "Uconn lost too many players. They have no shot this year" And they went on to have the most dominant tourny run in ncaa history.

It doesnt matter who they lose year to year. They are a factory w/ the best coach in the world.

They will 3peat this year and this will go on and on.

Name your odds. You're all gung ho about their current ranking. Guess where they were ranked in the Top 25 preseason AP and Coaches poll for the 2022//23 year, the same year they won it all? They weren't.
