we played as well as one could expect…no competition for the starters, everyone got a chance to practice and/or play especially the 6 thru 10 players….beating the huge spread was irrelevant for the coaches in determining who is on the court, how long.
It was a joke. Didn't you see the winking emoji?

You were money at crunch time Boo. I remember Valentine's Day night at Seton Hall when one of your 3 buzzer beating game winners that season sent us Johnnies fans happy. :)
Boo actually had 4 buzzer beaters that season. The one against the Hall forced OT. He finished 40 in that win. Had 3 game winners against DePaul, Georgetown and Pitt.

My only concern with this game is that Storr looks like he’s lost confidence. Here is Anderson’s highest rated recruit and he’s relegated to limited minutes, while Wusu continues to eat up minutes and offers little.

Best thing about this game is that we finally have a game against some legit competition coming up. Other then the New Hampshire game (and perhaps Florida State) there are no more cupcakes. In short, the bakery is closed. 😎👍

So we were 39 on KenPom before the game, we won by 27 (didn't cover the 33 point spread) and as of minutes ago we are 41 on Kenpom.

AHHHHHH!!!!

So why is this? Is it playing cupcakes? Is it not blowing them out? What can we do?

Storr is not earning minutes right now. For all his flaws, Wusu can handle, rebound and defend. He is the better option at present. High school rankings are and should be irrelevant.

Normally I would agree but since the team is thin on highly rated players and Storrs game, or at least his confidence has seemingly regressed, giving him little time does not bode well for the future. To date, Wusu while an adequute ball handler, not great defensively does rebound but a liability on offense is not worth sacrificing Storrs minutes for his time. But again, that’s just my opinion.

Storr played 19 minutes tonight. Wusu 14 minutes.

I remember leaping off the recliner when Boo Harvey hit the game winner at Georgetown. I was also fairly confident he would it. It seemed we were behind throughout the majority of the game and taking the lead AND winning the game against our rival was exhaling.

Not to mention, going back to school the following day to heckle several Hoya fans was rather fun too. 😁
