Who knew President Reagan was diminishing SJU’s academic prowess by referring to the school as just a “New Harvard”.With Dingle from Penn and if , Ledlum walks on , from Harvard , we could have the GPA. Awards all locked up .
I would guess they were both, All Ivy League players , if the Ivey has such a category ?
Otherwise , the Ivies strike me as “ every body gets a Trophy.”
I don't think this will end up being an issue.Ledlum would be insane but that would give us 15 guys and 5 of them in that scenario - Davis, Conway, Dunlap, Ayo, Traore - will never see the floor.

You'd have to imagine there'll be a couple of redshirts in that group: Davis and Ayo at the least. Both used their free transfer to come here, so unless he re-enters the portal before the end of the summer, redshirting would make sense for them.
I read somewhere recently Pitino described Conway as a "program player". That sounds like code for someone who isn't going to play much but is all about rebooting the culture. I'm sure he'd describe Ayo and Traore that way as well.
Dunlap is a coach's son and came here without expectations to play right away.
We didn’t expect Davis, Ayo & traore to see any other than mop up time.Ledlum would be insane but that would give us 15 guys and 5 of them in that scenario - Davis, Conway, Dunlap, Ayo, Traore - will never see the floor.
Especially in an offseason where we only started with two scholarship players!Who ever thought that as a St. John's fan that you would wonder where a coach would be able to find enough minutes for the guys on the roster?
This has been an insane turnaround. Pitino is a life force unto himself.
Exactly right. Even though we have no clue if Ledlum is being targeted, let's play this out. You'd have a ten-man rotation that looks something like this:
Guards - Dingle, Jenkins, Alleyne, Wilcher
Wings - Luis, Taylor, Slazinski
Post - Soriano, Ledlum, Ejiofor
No regular minutes - Dunlap, Davis, Conway, Ayo, Traore
Not sure who would do what in that situation, but I agree with your comment re: Dunlap's mindset.
It's not just guys on the roster but quality guys on the roster.Who ever thought that as a St. John's fan that you would wonder where a coach would be able to find enough minutes for the guys on the roster?
