holy shit MR strikes again with another brutal prediction/analysisZuby is a decent backup center. But we need to majorly upgrade over him next year. There is no way he can be starting for us next year.
Giving myself a marillac moment here. well doneIf he didn’t have any shortcomings, he’d still be on Kansas.
Sure there’s things to work on, but IMO he’s already the best defensive big we’ve had here in years. And with his ability to track down offensive rebounds and get us extra possessions, he makes himself valuable on both ends of the floor.
He’s a little clunky when trying to score around the rim, but he’s already got a solid free throw shot, which is essential for him with how physical he plays.
There’s a lot to love. I’m absolutely ecstatic that he’s gonna be starting next year. He’s so fun to root for
For those playing the Mullins Revenge wrong prediction home drinking game who haven't passed out drunk yet he is only 2/3 wrong on this one. Top 3 scorersOur top 3 scorers next year are not on this roster right now. Rick will be bringing in some big time transfers for next year.
For those playing the Mullins Revenge wrong prediction drinking game just chug whatever alcohol you have in the house that's leftIf Zuby is starting at any position we are in big trouble. Hes a 10-15 minute energy guy off the bench.
For those playing the Mullins Revenge wrong prediction home drinking game. Call an ambulanceRevisit what? Weve already recruited over him at the 5 w/ the USC kid and there is 0 chance hes a 4 in todays game.
He will be the backup 5 like he should be.
The “Zuby is offensive challenged” was an unfair trope from the preseason that never looked to really be the case. He was a pretty good FT shooter, showed flashes of being able to put the ball on the floor, and even a quality jump shot by end of the year. Add his defense, and I think he will surprise most people.
Going 1-22 from 3 doesn’t hurt eitherHaving guards like Khadary and Devon, and forward RJ attack the basket and draw crowds in process allows Zuby to pound the offensive boards. It's all related.
Can we monetize his uncanny ability to be wrong? There has to be a way.For those playing the Mullins Revenge wrong prediction home drinking game. Call an ambulance
It's truly staggering. Since I started posting on redmen.com around 1999 or whatever I say this with complete awe and humility there to the best of my memory hasn't been anyone even close to as many wrong so many times. It's Mount Rushmore of Wrong type of impressiveness. Can we monetize his uncanny ability to be wrong? There has to be a way.
Is he actually a genius troll? It's truly staggering. Bobre we all used to give shite to but the thing I gave him the most shite for that " defining moment thread " after we lost to St Francis Norms first year it turns out he was right and 95% of us were flat out wrong
But I'm not even sure if another poster deserves to be in the conversation for most wrong. That would be complete disrespect to Mullins Revenge and he deserves the honor hands down
And he doesn't back down on being wrong. He goes full-blown rapid wrong predictions. He's wrong so much I don't think his car can even turn to the right. Gotta respect thatIs he actually a genius troll?
I’m loath to defend MR, but I’m not sure the staff totally disagreed with him at the time as they went pretty hard after Cliff O as I recall.holy shit MR strikes again with another brutal prediction/analysis
Are you purposely referring to yourself in the third person?Marillac is a huge Zuby fan, but even he didn’t see the lack of fouling that has occurred this season.
That might be the most impressive thing about his growth. Many of his biggest fans — Marillac included — thought he was only going to be a 20 minute guy due to his fouls troubles and Pitino’s 2 and sit policy.
His only career retreat was Vince. He may be letting his other aliases handle the dirty work there, though. And he doesn't back down on being wrong. He goes full-blown rapid wrong predictions. He's wrong so much I don't think his car can even turn to the right. Gotta respect that
Cliff was a 1 year though. He was getting 26 minutes a game at Rutgers. Maybe the staff was planning Zuby for minutes at the 5 and 4 if they got CliffI’m loath to defend MR, but I’m. It sure the staff totally disagreed with him at the time as they went pretty hard after Cliff O as I recall.
