Have always enjoyed your posts, but you have to understand that you were a very regular poster and then completely dropped off the board after each of our worst losses. You know were going to have some fun with that.

Wow, this thread has gotten ridiculous, smh. Making Plays has explained his connection to Mike Anderson, not sure why some have a problem with that. I am disappointed with our record, but I root for Coach Anderson and our team to win. As an Alumnus, that is what I believe I should do. Some on here have been bitching about one thing or another and calling for a new coach since the beginning of the season. I find this hypocritical, since the only way we get a new coach is if the team loses. Therefore, whether you want to admit it or not, some here root against St Johns, smh. Just a lil something to think about.

Probably because MakingPlays defends Anderson against every little critique all the time but then goes missing when Anderson and co lose a bunch of games.
And by the way there’s nothing wrong with that lol he can do what he wants but it’s pretty funny to act like it’s because of travel or a vacation when it’s just because… you don’t wanna come here when Anderson is losing and the vibes are bad.
I don’t even blame MP cause when I was a little younger I used to pop up on providence/seton hall/nova forums and talk shit. And if we would then lose to one of those teams? Oh god no I wouldn’t show my face there. Why would I?
So it makes perfect sense but i think Mikes point is to just own that that is what’s happening not hide behind “oh I was on a trip”. There’s internet on trips and trust me if Mike Anderson ripped off 5 straight wins during that “trip” MakingPlays would be making the rounds on red.fans lol
But I do appreciate MP clarifying why he loves Anderson in this thread. That is honorable and totally understandable reasoning. But also let’s me know MP has about 2 months left before he is gone forever on this board so who really cares anyway.
His presence here was temporary. Kinda like Cam Macks mom
MP, yes you have been nothing but positive and have good conversations about basketball.
There are hundreds of pages of threads in the forum. It’s almost impossible to stay on topic with the various opinions on the board. It’s when it gets excessive, we will remind posters to stay on topic. Typically it ends there. It was stated that ‘Everyone’ knock it off, not just you.
If you want to report any personal attacks towards you, send a PM to myself or any other moderator.
Any other off topic response on this thread will be removed.
I personally had 2 posts on page 7 about him which were more of a joke but feel free to take a look at them. He overreacted
I have given my share of crap to Making Plays, and he has given me some good one back. But this is after all, college basketball. We cannot take ourselves this seriously over sports.
If someone is going to come here with a strict opinion about a coach/player — and this also goes to the “Anderson was the worst hire since day one crowd” — and never budge, expect a few daggers about those opinions.
I was happy when Anderson was hired. I was even fine with him coming back this year (and yes, I am only one alum/fan who has made donations to the university that will hardly cause a ripple).
But I also firmly believe this is a make or break year for Anderson. Even by Mullin’s low bar he set, the team made it to a tournament play-in game in his fourth year.
Anderson must have felt that too, because he brought in two high profile junior transfers that may not have fit. To Jones’ credit, he has tried to make his game fit while more importantly being a good teammate and representative of the university.
Curbelo, on the hand, well we do not have to say much. His actions are the opposite of Jones.
The only way I could endorse another year of Anderson is by making the NCAA tournament (again, the Board obviously does not care about my opinion).
And that will only happen by winning the BE tournament at this point.
My heart will be fully behind every game and hope for a miracle run (hey we can have these little dreams about sports), but my head says how in the world is this team suddenly going to put together a string of four consecutive wins?

A couple weeks ago, someone (I have my suspicions, but I have really did any investigating, lol) went to Georgetown's fan site and created a pseudonym "depressedsjufan" and talked about (paraphrased) "they wished Georgetown had beaten the Johnnies" and whatnot. Silly.
Once my sidekick, Maher, has had a chance to review the report.Detective Dinkins when can we expect a full report on who it was?

Kranmars, there will be no miracle run, you know why? CMA is a very stubborn man.
I believe it was after the Butler loss where Paultzman posted that Macron and shoes approached CMA about a different approach for games and CMA turned them down. are you freaking kidding me? Here your B.E. records sucks, your assistants are trying to give you suggestions for the better of the teams, and you tell them no thank you? If I was him, and our record suck, I might try their approach for the better of the team and screw my ego.

Not silly, pitiful. No one who supports our team would post something that blatantly ignorant.
Jack, that goes both ways. Those who were killing Anderson, went quiet after we beat Butler and UCONN. It is easy to jump on Making Plays because he is upfront with his support of Coach Anderson. Now that he has clarified his stance, let's all pull together and root for St Johns to end the season on a positive note.

And what if we do well from out, and make the nit, I guess he'll stay for next year, and then they suck again in the first 15 B.E games then what, play better only to yet again make the nit? Nah I'll pass.
Ask G-Town what it did for them when Ewing and G-Town ran the B.E. and made the NCAA Tourny, just this year he reached 29 straight B.E. losses.
I'd rather not prolong change. That's how I feel.
