yukon game

Lots of hot girls behind the bench. Clearly the Mrs. Lavin factor.

Nice iron clad solid win against a much better than advertised UConn team. I'd add this to the resume.

We won and that is all that counts.
We held their excellent backcourt to 19 while our 2 guards had 21.
Neither set of guards could shoot straight tonight.

I said the Georgetown loss wouldn't matter if we could rebound and win tonight against Uconn. Great job by the guys. Now time to go up to the Dome and steal one against my hated alma mater...

Greene was 2-11, making him an undazzling 83-232 for the season.
He kills us.

Am I missing something - when the clock was not running (and the referees failaed to dock time) I do believe with the score something like 67-62, an SJU player (maybe Harrison) hit two free throws and the score stood at 68-62 rather than 69-62. If so I really wish the staff would have complained about both the clock an the missing free throw.

thanks
all the best and a great necessary win!

But his 6-6 from the line gives us the win. No Greene we lose this game and he scored down the stretch where we needed it. Better shot selection and who knows what could happen.

I just tried to post this but don't think it took:

at the moment the clock failed to run, the referees did not deduct time - staff should have caught this - THEN I do believe with the score 67-62, Harrison (or someone) hit two free throws but the score stood at 68-62 rather than 69-62.

Am I correct? If so the staff again should have been on the referees et.

great win!

We won this one in spite of our coach. Hate how it sounds but its true. We were floundering without Harrison on the floor. He left Jakarr out there with 4 fouls for a minute or two. Bourgault was nowhere to be found until Obekpa fouled out. Got to clean up these lapses.

We burn meaningless timeouts in the first half, and then we get trapped up 5 with 30 seconds left we throw the ball away and don't call a TO. Simple things. With all that said this was an absolute must win game. We have nothing to lose in the next 2 games which may help us steal one

Too bad this isn't a year where the win can't be used as a tie-breaker for NCAA consideration between the two schools.

It will certainly help SJU's standings as a tie-breaker against others. We need UConn to win as many as possible the rest of the way.

On my way home from game. Horrible attendance, but fans got into it and were loud. Place really was loud while they sorted out the two flagrant one fouls.

Can someone explain ro me why we burned three timeouts in a first half that we were never behind?

Good win (aren't they all) but was scratching my head at some of the coaching decisions (like leaving Jakarta in after he picked up his fourth foul with 12 minutes and change to go)

Thought Chris was called on some Ricky rack fouls.

Marco helped stretch their defense and had ansolidmgame.

Clutch shots down the stretch for DLo and clutch free throw shooting.
