Good to win a series vs. the Red Sux.

Thank god this terrible season is coming to an end. 2 more errors again tonight, and so many other soft plays. Stanton is that kid you can't hide in the field. Torres once again proved what little baseball IQ he has. WTF was he thinking on his lollipop throw to 1st base? I would have sat his ass on the bench. Hopefully some GM takes the 2 of them off their hands this winter.
 
Good comeback win against a bad team. With Cole on the mound, should not have been an issue, but you could tell from the 2nd batter he did not have it tonight.

Torres and Stanton are each horrible in their own way. Torres had an at bat early in the game where he failed to run out a ground out. Then his fielding blunder was an error, not a hit. This kind of shit seems to happen 3 or 4 times a week. Please move them this winter.

Hopefully Misiewicz will be OK.
 
game 147 plus,
cy cole was shaky in the first few innings. more walks than strikeouts.
a first inning walk scored. he settled down as the game went on, but pitch count was 93 after 5.
if senior yank ownership, senior executive decision maker, and/or field manager are going to continue their current strategy. then cole should look to leave at the end of 2024. I adore cole. I adore the yanks, but cole is wasting his golden beisbal years.
again cole leaves a game with a lead and does not get the win.

the yanks should do a slick rick/soriano. on the offense, keep $99, trade/drop the rest.
the only sticks that are not in the 210 club are $99 and torres.
torres has too many flaws. his glove (see last nights game), his base running (or trotting).
maybe keep the injured catcher trevino.
breakup the yankee lineup. team is worth $7 billionish, spend a few $100 million. get a few more advertising patches.

yanks beat the putrid pirates.
yanks used for 4 innings another retread, washed up, wannabee pitcher - dream weaver.
in the last week or so, yanks pitching a parade of has beens. it worked for this game.
Stanton - his bat is as quick and strong as anyone in beisbal.
in his last at bat while striking out, he twice swung at ball 4. he does not know the strike zone.
 
A typical Yankees loss against a patchwork pitching staff. Anyone thinking this team had any chance to catch the Jays or Mariners or another team was nuts, including those on the pregame show.

When you can't hit, and when your pitcher allows 2 2-out hits to score runs, you have little or no chance, as has been the case all year long. No hits with RISP.

Another sloppy game in the field, and another pitcher, Vasquez, that can't field his position.

Rodon thinks Triolo has a long last name. He should only know mine (14 letters).

Head scratcher: Cabrera batting lefty against a lefty.

Stanton sucks so badly.

No adjustments from the other night against Selby. Great job by the coaching staff and analytics team on that one.

But wait, Montaz is on his way back.

yankee offense - 8 total bases, 12 ks.
mcallister - the latest washed up, wannabe token pitcher.
it seems, every time volpe boots the ball, a run cores.
 
Sloppy pitching and sloppy fielding. Schmidt is his own worst enemy. Too many 3 ball counts limits his innings, and then walks a batter after gettng ahead 0-2, and then gives up a homer to put the game away.

Another error by Gold Glover (in clueless Boone's mind) Volpe, and could Peraza reach first on a throw, maybe?

Stanton is ridiculously bad. Shut him the fuck down if he can't run. In fact, DFA his friggin ass. 2 strikeouts and 2 GIDPs. He's totally inept and a waste of a roster spot.

12 more strikeouts once again.

Glad I can watch these games in 15 minutes or less.
