Dominguez has a torn UCL in his right elbow!!!!o_O:eek::sick::mad:. It was reported that he first started feeling this the last game of the Astro serious and was getting treatment fore soreness but today it became worst. Went for test and got this shocking result. Bad news for the young man, the team and the fans. Boone said that it will probably be a nine to ten month recovery and rehab time for a position player after surgery. I heard that it took Bryce Harper a little more than 5 months and Tony Womack six months to come back after surgery.

We just cannot catch a break!!!!! :mad:

God, this team is awful. It's like watching an expansion team every game. Their approach at the plate is astonishingly poor.

The pitching decisions by Boone are outer wordly. Why couldn't Peralta and Holmes be extended a few more batters each?

Can't even bunt a runner over.

I told my wife in the 3rd inning that the Yanks were going to be no hit today. Great play by the Brewer RF'er.

Feels like this team could become the NY Angels, with 2 generational players, Cole and Judge, and little else. Horrible news on Dominguez.

Cole screwed again. Team just does not score for him.

Maybe some team will show interest in Stanton, who BTW, sucks.
 
Gutted over the news about Dominguez. Hope the kid can recover quickly from his injury. He was a breath of fresh air to watch playing - looked really overjoyed to be playing the game in the majors. Hope that Pereira can pick it up.
 
Can't get out of the inning giving up a cheap run with Higashioka making a lazy swipe at a ball in the dirt, allowing a runner to score from 3rd. Higashioka never moved his body to block the ball.

This is a loss. Doubt this team can put anything together go get back in this game.

10 strikeouts in 5 innings. Even the other outs are soft flys and ground outs.

Break up the Yankees!! Oye. Tons of strikeouts. 15. So many empty swings. 4 for 16 with RISP. But I'll give the pitchers credit. Always good to beat the Red Sux, especially in Bahston.

Boone with his 500th career win. Guess he's coming back since he's such a top notch Manager. Man, he has all the buzzwords. Ripe for a TV gig. Please.

IKF with a dumb baserunning mistake on a line driin front of him, and then not sliding back to the base. What the hell was the 3rd base coach thinking sending IKF from 3rd where he was thrown out by 10 feet?

Judge looking like he has a tired bat, but then again, the Yankees have for the last 10 years.
 
I know as well as everyone else that the remaining games are meaningless, unless you're trying to make an impression for next season. That's another subject.

But I've never seen a team that hits as poorly as the Yanks do with RISP. Especially after getting a leafoff hitter or hitters on in an inning. Today again, they are 0 for 9 in that category. Same shit, different day.

Torres with yet another poor basreunning mistake. Almost zero baseball IQ.

None of the new kids, except maybe Dominguez, has shown much. So we're in for more of the same going forward, unless their entire approach changes.

And pitcher's inability to get out of an inning, especially after getting the.first 2 batters in an inning, has been a season long issue.

Time to do sit Judge down. Looks like he's done for the season.
