Yankees - 2019

bHmmm,..how did they look in London? Or over the balance of the 105 games played so far? Not quite like last year. People need to relax. It’s been an awful week, but it’s still just a week, I’ll take first place up 8 or 9 games late July over chasing, any day.
Oh, if we win tomorrow, then all is fine. But, if we lose, it's a sweep, and we play them 4 games again next weekend, which might not be a good thing, right now.
And? Last week was an aberration, as some of us could see even in the wake of the meltdown. Clearly Houston’s staff is amazing, but if we can get rid of the injury bug, we should have better than a puncher’s chance against them. Especially if we get home field, and some reasonable contributions from Severino and Betances.

This is the craziest year in memory for injuries. Even the announcers didn't escape. I banged up my knee too. Now the fans are included too. Do I throw salt over my left shoulder or sacrifice a chicken to change the luck?
Hicks elbow not a good sign
Agreed. I'm not a Hicks fan, but I have a feeling this is going to be longterm.

Hicks to the IL, will resume throwing in 7-10 days (they feared Tommy John, so this is probably good news).

Corresponding move, for now, is Happ being reinserted from the paternity list. No Clint Frazier, yet.

The lineups are starting to look like some of the ones Boone was throwing out there in April and May:

Torres 2B
Judge DH
Gregorius SS
Urshela 3B
Gardner CF
Maybin RF
Ford 1B
Higashioka C
Tauchman LF

While is DJLM not in the lineup? Give him tomorrow off.put Gardner or Urshela leadoff and Torres 4th. And why is Judge not in RF again? I really think he's hurt. Boone is looking to win some sort of reward for the most, and most ridiculous lineups in one season.
All Rise! That's 193 straight regular season non-shutouts (198 overall).
Yanks hold the record for most games not being shutout.
308 consecutive games (Aug. 3, 1931, to Aug. 2, 1933.).

And that number is actually 312, because they don't count the 1932 World Series, which the Yankees swept.

The amazing thing is, that the Yankees were also not shutout in any of the 32 Spring Training games they played this year, so the number is actually bigger, but I understand not counting those games.
And they take out Torres, hope he isn't injured
Another core injury
What the hell is a core issue?
If you’re seriously asking it’s your torso. Aka often aggravated when swinging something

We put a major dent in the hopes of the redsux of making a wc spot, now please cleve, oak and tb DO your job.
8 game losing streak hahahaha

Ok ok now that this series is over i will pipe it down a bit, and relax now.
But just understand one thing. I always hated the redsux, but when they had their parade and core made his speech i didn't expect him to say: " the yankees f'ing suck.",When i heard that it put a rage inside me.
That's why i get crazy when we play boston now.
And having it said by the redsux manager uhhhh.

Anyway I'll relax now

This Yankee team suffers more injuries than the Jets and Giants put together. WTH is going on this season, it's totally ridiculous at this point. Seems like every day 2 guys get hurt in every conceivable way possible. Next injury probably from a guy tripping on the dugout steps or tipping his cap during introductions.
Gleybar in the lineup batting cleanup
Half a day off though, and Urshela out.

Lemahieu 3B
Judge RF
Gregorius SS
Torres DH
Ford 1B
Gardner CF
Romine C
Tauchman LF
Valera 2B
