Yankees - 2019

Wow
To put it in perspective looks like Mets gave up 4 and 6 ranked prospects. But seems like Jays wanted Yankees 1.
Lol what do you expect, we're division foes so gotta expect them to atleast try and rob us. When we say nope, then they go to the cross town rivals.

It's all good though, they suck and will continue to suck

game 105.
if july can have a must win game, then this was it.
sloppy infield defense by both teams. bad throws by the sox.
a yankee starter got the last out in the 5th - praise Jesus.
the yankee pen struggled but preserved the win.
the daily old school redmen why was he even born award goes to sale.
the daily old school redmen sanchez/slump/sucks award goes to boston's gloves & defensive arms.
the daily old school redmen savage award goes to maybin - ignore his pickoff.
gio filled in well for dj. need dj back sooner than later.

game 106.
yankee sticks get no earned runs off of a below average starter.
gio stays hot
the daily old school redmen savage award goes to wade for his homer
the daily old school redmen why was he even born award reluctantly goes to the yankee sticks
the daily old school redmen sanchez/slump/sucks award goes to the yankee starters

All the injuries and lack of solid starting pitching is starting to take its toll on this team. I believe Judge is still hurt. I honestly think the Division race will be close because I see the Red Sux making another dent in the Yankees lead this weekend. And why can't they beat the Diamondbacks?

Did Judge leave today's game early?

Yankees stand pat and do nothing to MLB roster.

Astros come in late adding Greinke to Cole and Verlander.

Unless lightning strikes, we will likely have to wait 'till next year for pitching to improve, either through trade or reboot.

Astros gave up 3, 4, 5 prospects and 22nd for Greinke.
If that was the Yankees the 3-4-5 would equate to Jasson Dominguez, Luis Gil and Clarke Schmidt

Well the yanks could of had rob ray, for clint, only problem is they wanted 3 prospects including 1st rnd pick Clarke Schmidt.
Rays #: 9-7 3.91 while giving up 23 bombs lol.

Their gm must be smoking some good ish.
I'd give up clint and a prospect or 2 not named Clarke.

No, but if teams want to rob us then f em

game 107.
graph showed the 5 yankee starters era between 4 & 5.
so the team has no #1 nor #2 right now for the playoffs.
still have top 3 record in mlb.
still have a very deep bench as gio, tauch, romine, maybin have stepped up.
getting Edwin was a plus.
the daily old school redmen rollercoaster award goes to today's game - down in the 7th with only 2 hits, then take lead, rain coming down for over half the game, the zona rallies in the 9th
the daily old school redmen savage of the game award goes to romine - big homer.
the daily old school redmen sanchez/slump/sucks award goes to greenie. even the outs were hit on the screws.
the daily old school redmen why was he even born award reluctantly goes to chapman for giving me agita.
.

The lineup for game 1 of what is hopefully, a 4 game Boston extinction. BTW, we're entering this series with the same 12 game loss column lead over Boston, that we had prior to last week's series. So, all that great work the Sox did against us those first three games, have gone for naught.

Lemahieu 2B
Judge RF
Encarnacion 1B
Hicks DH
Torres SS
Urshela 3B
Maybin LF
Romine C
Gardner CF

After all the panic of losing the first 3 to the Sox last weekend, after tonight the Yankees are 13 up in the loss column on the Red Sox. They were 12 up in the loss column going into last weekend's series.

God nothing would make me happier if the Sox miss the playoffs...
