Who's job is it to make sure that players execute in late game situations? Teams inferior in talent have been beating us, is that the players fault too? Every other BE coach would have turned Yawke and Ali B into something.The NBA coaching style is not working. These are KIDS who need guidance. Not grown men making millions of dollars. Mullin is letting these guys do whatever they want on halfcourt offense and it isn't working. Something has to change. It doesn't look good when your Head Coach is spending more time sitting on the scorers and yelling at the officials than actually doing what he is paid MILLIONS of dollars for.
 
How about putting this loss on the Players who did zero tonight and failed miserably in crunch time . Simon misses 2 free throws . Ahmed makes 1 of 2 to keep us down 1 and Owens was a culprit with the goal tend , while again being faked out of his shoes by the slow footed Kanter . Too many guys on this team can’t shoot the damn ball , even if wide open . Those who tortured Mussini last year would have prayed for him to be on the Court tonight . He was a 42 percent 3 Point Shooter . Mullin needs to get a long range bomber and a post player . Yes , a full roster with players who can contribute off the bench .

Sly, I agree with you on this one!
With Justin Simon all you have to do is take the ball out of his hands and he becomes invisible. Mullin gave the ball to Shamorie tonight and rendered Simon useless because he is a horrible shooter. Owens was just a walking stick tonight except for a couple of blocks. And while North thinks Ahmed's double double of 12 and 10 was impressive his 1 of 4 from the three were killers along with his usual mindless fouls that forced Muliin to use his thin talentless bench. The last minute said it all about executing what was discussed in the time out.. This is one game where the ball in Lovett’s hands wins the game. I think Mullin was fit to be tied with what his players "did not do" in the last few minutes of this game. Bottom line is 2 guys came to play against the #6 team in the country and again, if just 2 other guys pulled their weight we win.
 
Just back from the game. Hard to win when you don't hit your free throws. Zebras were horrible.
This team will win more than one BE game this year. Execution by our guys late in the game was poor because they were exhausted. Ponds and Clark played 40 minutes each, and Simon played 37. They did not quit.
 
It’s amazing that we almost won this game with only Ponds and Clark.

I thought Ahmed played a good game, too. Yes, he had foul issues, but I only thought one of the five fouls (#3) was a really bad one. For the most part, that was an unfortunate manifestation of him being aggressive tonight.
 
Macura gets away with a charge every time he drives. Refs love him.
 
He misses foul shots all the time Shoots under 50% Also can not shoot peroid.
It would not be hard for an incoming Freshman to take his starting job next yr. On our way to not winning a game in Big East
 
Poster of the year ( although the post might have been in december ) is whoever wrote that the ref's hate Mullin because I'm absolutely convinced there is some conspiracy there. I dont think I've ever been angrier at officials as this year
 
Please, did not see the game If he was that good he would have played more mins A good start to that would have been playing smarter and not getting into early foul trouble and shooting better at the free throw lin

I've always felt with the right coach Alibegovic could become the next Larry Bird.
