Guess you missed Nova’s meltdown yesterday against GTown. Didn’t score for last 5 minutes, kept going to a triple teamed Dixon, saw GTown score the final 9 points, and lost on last second shot.
Strangest use of “fouls to give” I’ve seen, with no attempt to trap or steal ball. Just gave fouls until they were at the limit and couldn’t play tight D on final GTown possession. Not a coaching clinic.

Marquette shot 37% from the field and it wasn't due to X's lockdown D by any means, they were missing open shots all game. X only scored 59 points. A road win is a road win, all credit to them. But Marquette lost that game more than X won it.

Gotta take care of business obviously but X doesn't scare me at all. Think we see a repeat of the first game.

Tough to call it a fluke, when Xavier only lost to Marquette by 2 points in their first meeting. X is just a tough matchup for Marquette. Ross and Mitchell combined for 12 points during their first matchup. No fluke that Xavier held that duo to 10 points last weekend.

Taking X lightly would be a terrible mistake and Pitino knows this. If we do win it’s not because X sucks, it’s because we are that good.
 
Question...friend asking if the lounge area with free food(i think it's Delta 360) for those VIP seats that is open for Knicks/Rangers is avail for college games as well.. thanks in advance

I was there last year for the Georgetown game, it was called the Madison Club. The one you're referring to might be different.

I turned that one off with about 2 minutes to go on the theory that Nova could not blow that lead to a challenged Georgetown team... which they promptly did. But given my pre-season prediction that Nova could finish dead last in the league, their degree of suckitude is still less. Before the GT loss they were actually on the fringes of the NCAA conversation (though IDK why)
 
This game, like all BE games, are not locks. Sure we match up well with certain teams, but that's no guarantee of a win. Xavier is tough. They were right there in 3 of their 4 BE losses and played Cincy close too. We want to be the team we think we are, we win games like this. We've been doing mostly that albeit with some grinders, but it's our time now. I just bought seats in 109, there are plenty of seats for cheap. Whoever is there need to bring the energy!

thank you to all those that are going! - every game ive been to/watched this season has had a Great energy - continue to bring it!

I've donated mine in 114 SJU fans... they won't give the same representation...but atleast its not an X fan lol
 
Trying to record game but FS1 In South Florida lists a different Big East game and Fox and FS2 are also not us. Have DirectTV Stream, any suggestions? Thanks.
