Xavier (MSG), Wed., Jan. 22 , 7p, FS-1

Prior to the start of the season, I thought a healthy Xavier would be top 20 team. They are dangerous. The Swain kid has a ton of unrealized potential. He's honestly right up there with RJ from what I've seen. McKnight is pain. They can shoot the sh*t out of the ball.

They are just so weak on the glass. We are a bad matchup for them, but we really need all of our 6 main guys to be able to take advantage of that relentless style that can break their backs.

We will need a good game from Smith to beat a surging Xavier team. Playing in a lop sided Seton Hall game was foolish at best with the up coming schedule. Players want to play, they don’t always consider their issues. This kind of injury can definitely screw up a players shooting. Considering Kadary’s lack of outside shooting and Wilcher’s forever slump, not a good situation.
They won at Xavier by 10 with Smith shooting 2-9 for 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. We can win without him

This is a better Xavier team that went to Marquette and won. At that time, Freemantle had just got back to playing. We are going to need a few players to hit their outside shots or this may be another nail biter.

They have not lost since they played thee Johnnies, what would you call it?
A team that beat DePaul, Nova at home in a close game, and a team that pulled off a miraculous win against Marquette after blowing a 20 point lead. They are a good BE team. We can beat them at reduced strength
