I'm not sure if I underestimated the lengths people go to recruit a top talent or if everyone on this board wears tin foil hats. Perhaps both?

Should more PT in a 3 game stretch wipe away 3 years of jerking around including killing a year of eligibility.
 
Moose do you know if they are still trying to get next year back? I know they were at one point. I don't think he was jerked around the first year or even really this year, but last season was inexplicable with the depth on that team. We knew he wasn't cracking PT with or without Jordan. You still had Jamal Phil and DLo for the two guard slots and plenty of guys to slide in for minutes at the 3.

One thing that is admirable about Balamou is that whenever they call on him, he is ready to play. No complaining, no bemoaning lack of time, no threats of transferring. He comes in and plays hard and doesn't appear overwhelmed by the competition. Good for him.

The burning of his red shirt last year was horrible, but he's lucky to be seeing the floor at all, IMO. Weren't we the only high-major (or mid-major, for that matter) to offer Balamou? He was a 2-star recruit (per ESPN) and brought in here to get Obekpa.

I agree with you on the red shirt issue.

I really don't care what someone thought a kid could do in terms of ratings or schollies offered. My opinion is that he's capable at this level.
 
Finally not a "must win" game but it presents a "huge opportunity". Would love to steal this game. Maybe they play a little looser and get it done. Good luck boys!!!

My understanding is they were told no. Whether they continue to push it I don't know. Its a dumb fight. Yes he went home to be with his mom but he was back here not too long after. The haste in burning his year because someone went to Philly is ridiculous on all counts.

I haven't and here it is. You'll see that their focus is clearly on their rivals. I am hoping their players have the same mentality and we steal one.

Thanks Jack. I laughed out loud at the poster who called us a "$hitty team" and the poster who said we were having chemistry issues! Those guys are hilarious. But in their defense, one of their posters did come back with some stats showing we are clearly not a "$hitty team."

And you're right. Their focus is clearly on the Cincy game. Hope that works to our advantage.
