@West Virginia, Fri., Dec. 1, 7p, ESPN-2

There is zero chance Jenkins has the same role at the end of the season that he’s had the first 7 games.

The only question is how much damage does this team have to endure before he assumes his proper role on this team. How much is Pitino willing to allow the chemistry between the rest of the players to suffer before he makes a drastic change?
The PG is going to Wilcher whenever the kid is ready, hopefully by late January. Until then Jenkins is the PG.

Did you really just parce through his 5 assists individually to determine a quality level and relative value of each assist? I've never seen that done ever and it might just represent a new low of some sort. I can hardly wait for your next post in which his 2 and 3 point field goals are somehow downgraded to a lesser point value based on using the backboard, proximity to the goal, not being a swish or some other arbitrary, spiteful nonsense you come up with.
Easy white boy

What you call moxie, I call a lack of awareness of his weaknesses and his role.
You would have loved Looie point guards. They didn't make mistakes, didn't turn the ball over, by and large weren't flashy, and shot only when wide open. But they could run an offense. Alagia, carter, tommy calabrese, etc.

Sometimes we all just gotta say let’s move on ) my sponsor who is Monte’s sponsor who is Eric’s sponsor who is Kranmars mother who is Ohiofan sister gave me that advice

Good one. I was so glad to find you, and others of the old crew, alive and well and still surviving and thriving after all these years upon recently joining here. I appreciate you Marillac.
It was the context and stated in a defamatory way, not in a complimentary way aimed at a white schoolyard legend, as in "that deaf, dumb, blind kid, sure plays a mean pin ball".

You also questioned "if you have to play a white boy" which has historical truths of sports teams like the Celtics being very hesitant to field a team without white guys on the court, or NFL teams "having to play" white men at quarterback, or nba teams having unwritten rules of have at least one white player.

I'm overly sensitive, but in 2023 I don't even think about the color of our players, and certainly not in terms of how playing time is doled out.

I don't think you meant it that way, but it reads like that, at least to me. If you did mean it like that I can say that sort of explicit statement without basis has no place at St. Johns.

That's all and it's not a shot at you, just about the post, which as reads to me is indefensible.
I think beasts point is that in todays world (or frankly any world) these kind of references are just unnecessary and let’s leave it at that.

What was the refs explanation for calling a foul on ludlum as he was lying on the
ground out of bounds when two WV players crashed into each other and landed on
top of Ludlum .

Funny, I have read mocking references on this thread to natives of West Virginia and to people from the south on several others and not a peep out of any offended posters, just curious, why is “white boy” different? And no one needs to answer, the question is rhetorical to make a point of the hypocrisy.

( for Logen ) If my street hoops nickname wasn’t white chocolate I’d have let you have it. Alays hood to project power or cavities on the court
:)

…and I thought I was the only one that noticed. The Referee who made that call made a few other phantom calls. I was screaming at the TV when he made that call but the Announcers said yes that’s a foul while ignoring the replay showing two WVU players colliding and then falling on Ledlum.

Attaboy Logen. Way to have my back.

Worst thing about it was the way the call came from the trail b official standing on the far sideline when the c official was literally right on top of the call and didn't make it. Just embarrassing for the crew.
