Great news, it appears that things are going to come together quickly. Very exciting!

But regarding Diallo, I'm not sure it's realistic to put too much weight on this. I would think Diallo cares far more about Hoiberg and the broader program than an assistant coach, no matter how good a relationship he's developed.
 
I expected this but glad to see it confirmed. Welcome home Matt.

Not sure we will hear about other assistants right away but would not be surprised if we hear about a new Director of Basketball Operations soon.
