Welcome back LJ Figueroa

If I was putting together a list of top 10 returnees to the Big East, I'd add Figueroa and, possibly, Heron to the list.
Heron’s problem last year partially was due to lack of coaching. He looked confused and frustrated much of the time. Imho he’s a bit better player than he has shown. Both LJ and he can benefit from some coaching this year.
Everybody on the roster could benefit from some coaching this year
It's about time that they got some
Was there some kind of announcement like this for Heron, or are we still assuming he'll be back.
I asked Zach B that very question. There has been no "formal" announcement but Zach seems to think that Heron will be back based upon the fact that he is participating in team workouts and such.

Heron never said he was leaving did he?

This is tremendous News!!! Now hopefully Heron stays as well and coach adds a few more pieces and next year might not be so dismal after all!

In case people forgot, LJ was the #4 sit-out transfer on ESPN.com. This will hopefully be a domino towards more good news.
Man LJ Figueroa (and RJ Barrett) are awfully nice consolation prizes for us St. John's/Knicks fans! So glad he'll be back next year.

I honestly think a team made up of :
G-Thornton
G-Heron
G-Wright
F-LJ
C/F-Steere

Bench: Greg Williams, Roberts, Caraher, McGriff, Sears, Earlington ... .
Thornton? Have I missed out on someting?

Zach B
LJ Figueroa advisor told me last school to try to get invovled was Oregon. Tons of high-majors wanted him. Presence of Van Macon was big. Figueroa has known him for a while. #sjubb

Great news. I have a feeling Macon is going to be one of the best hires SJU ever made.

Looks like Van Macon won out over Marc Hsu for the second time this spring.

Wishful thinking.

This is great news! LJ's my favorite current Johnnie and I expect this year he'll climb on to my Top Ten All-time SJU favorite list. Love his aggressiveness of offense and the amazing heads up plays he makes at crucial moments in games. A really fun player to watch who will only become more so in MA's system. First team BE this year? Could be...

Does this make everyone on their timeline relax now? The kid took his time to decide if his school was still right for him, since he plays hoops, a bunch of trolls are upset that he couldn’t figure it out on their timeframe, which is when they wake up and log on

Not saying I disagree with you but that's 2 of your posts I've read in the last 5 minutes where you rake fellow posters over the coals. Maybe try and chillax a bit. :eek:hmy:
