Beast, I'm not particularly a big fan of Charlotte, either, but it has come a ways, as mentioned by gman.

I've been to Charlotte a few times and it is a very convenient city to fly to on the cheap and the weather is great in March. Prefer it to any of the other cities mentioned above.

Ummmm Pittsburg is a great city, just saying

Best thing about Sh1tsburg is the airport.

I was just going to post that I really like the airport. I know a few people who love Pittsburgh. Then again, I tell people Oakland is great and no one believes me either.

I hate Piedmont . . . mostly because I can't afford to live there. :lol:

There are a few parts of the city I wouldn't enter in daytime even if I were armed with kevlar and a flamethrower. But the rest is great. We are actually benefiting from all the interesting people moving here because they've been priced out of that hipster hellhole SF.

Now we just need the best players in the city to stay eligible so I can take in some high school games.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasnt the famous Duke - St Johns game with Billy Singleton played there in the NCAA tournament. The game where Singleton got hit with a foul or some kind of technical for a 5 point swing that changed the momentum of the game from st joihns to duke? If we play Duke there we are dead because the refs will just foul us out of the game and make sure there is no way we can win. I would rather play Kentucky
In Charlotte their offensive fouls will become our blocking and vice versa. In Charlotte our touches will be fouls and their pushes just not noticed. We dont want Duke in Charlotte

The game you're referring to was played in Atlanta (The Omni).

I understand where you're coming from, but Mercer was able to defeat 'em last season in Raleigh.
