A few points after a night of reflection:
As I have said previously, and others have also noted, Posh and Cuberlo should play less together. I would start Posh and allow him to try to regain his freshman form as the best pure point guard in the conference. He would need to refocus on pass first and drive and dish or short/mid range shots, which he can make. He needs to abandon his 3 point shot propensity and the staff needs to press him on that.
The fact that is epidemic among these non-shooters that they continue to take ill-advised 3 point shots is indicative of a lack of discipline and a selfish attitude among the players to "get theirs". This is a coaching staff issue. Thye need to set the right tone and set the right team approach.
Curbelo reminds me of Kevin Willaims as a could-be super-sub off the bench. His helter skelter, frenetic style could be a good change of pace off the bench for instant offense, but he will need to shoot better and make better decisions.
As good as Soriano has been offensively, he needs help on the defensive end. I don't know what the deal is w/ Nywie, but I think he should be spotted in against bigger players as he is more defense oriented and might disrupt guys like Dixon better than Joel will. Stanley can play with either, and Nywie and Sorioano could be played together in a big lineup, sparingly, but as a mix and match. The staff seems enamored by the Soriano emergence to the exclusion of correctly utilizing all of the players available.
Storr should start. Period. He is maybe the best or second best offensive player on the roster, and despite his defensive lapses (I don't think he has been as bad as some think), he has huge upside and he needs to be played. I don't often speculate about portal potential, but if he is not respected and brought along and allowed to play.....
Wusu should have his role diminished to allow Storr more minutes. He was a surprise as a freshman but we have seen his upside and downside. He has limits, but staff seems to have him stubbornly as a favorite, good, bad and ugly. He also has to be told that he shoots too many 3s and he should concentrate on defense and opportunistic offense.
To me, Jones has been a perplexing player. He seems intent on hoisting 3s and he has shown that he can't make them consistently. He often takes ill advised shots early in the clock that kills momentum. His best role seems to be slashing, and playing around the basket. Staff needs to press him to do so.
The staff has some really nice tools to work with but seem incapable of utilizing them properly, or enforcing the discipline necessary to run structured offensive sets, or reel in ill advised shot making.
There are flaws here that are obvious. One source of solace is that Anderson teams (at least here) seem to play better as the season goes on. But, the staff can't afford to allow the season to devolve. This team needs to make the NCAA (seems doubtful, but it is still early). Overall, disappointing but not entirely surprising start to the conference schedule. Many have labored over the OOC schedule and that is obviously a culprit in not preparing the team for the competitiveness of the conference. But, the staff and its failure to use the talent it has to its optimum level seems to be the main issue here. Hard truth is that that may not be changeable, and therein lies the real issue for after this season. Not sure that StJ can attract a better coach at this point, going into 3 decades of near irrelevance.
