Villanova Game

Villanova has defeated StJohns something like 10 of the last 11 mens basketball games played between the 2 schools. Not Good.

Oh geez. If we miss the start of this one I'm going to be pissed. Fox needs to find a place to put their spill-over games. the mobile app, FS2, FX, something.

They have done spillover on FS2 before. Not sure why last game was the one game they havent.

Gtown had our number too coming into last game and we saw what happened. Thats why they play the games.

I just checked they have another game on that starts at 3 30. Hopefully next year they will do a little better job scheduling, or use Fox 2 all the time for the start of games.
 
If our game tips at 1:35 I don't expect to see anything on FS1 till after the 1st TV timeout if we're lucky.

I find myself turning sound off more often, turning it back on when we score. Lol
Trite nature of broadcasting is so irritating. The dopey announcer, who kept saying Butler was confused by NBA three line, should be covering curling. Must say Tarik is much improved
 
Nothing was better then listening to Dick Stockton butcher Arcidiacono's name all game and then the color guy following Dick's lead
 
FYI - the group I am going with tomorrow has an extra ticket to the game, so if any SJU fans from south jersey or philly (or even NY fans who won't mind making the trip) are interested in a ticket, PM me.
 
2 games ago against Georgetown they started the game on Fox Sports 2. Problem is that I am stuck with Comcast who does not carry Fox Sports 2, only Fox Sports 1. Tried to get it on Fox Sports Go, but again I can only get channels that Comcast carries, so no Fox Sports 2. I often plan my weekend around these games and get very frustrated with not getting the game till after the 3rd TV timeout like against Butler.
 
Agreed.

Fox Sports needs to allow users on the FoxSports Go app and website to watch either feed. ESPN has no problems with this on the watchespn app/site and they also restrict folks to the channels they subscribe too.

I wonder if at this point they don't have the capabilities to handle users getting both games. Very frustrating.

I think last game they had live programming they didn't want to preempt. Admittedly it was a bunch of rednecks driving around in circles in POS souped up sedans, but it was live and apparently of interest in the South and the middle of America. This time they don't have live programming, just a repeat of a UFC card, so they should be able to show the beginning on FS2 if necessary.
