Up Next: Butler

I rarely say this but I really like this color commentator. Good analyst if you ask me

Sirvoo

Spot on...Greg Kelser is very good...noticed last time he did our game...good insights...

Great wins but tempered expectations going forward because this was a pretty weak butler teAm. I really hope Lavin keeps the rotation short going forward.

On to Creighton. The game they played against Nova last week is the best Ive seen anyone look in a long time. This will be a monumental task

Just shows you how important Sampson and Jordan are to this team. They should be getting 36 mpg.

Liked the flow of things without PGIII. He should not be getting more than 12 mpg.

I truly think we have 7 more wins in us.

saw a replay of a 'sheed 3 where Sampson feeds him the ball and motions for Jordan to shoot, and smiling throughout when others made good plays. Perhaps his stats were quiet for a reason today, as he spread his skills beyond just grabbing points. Cool.

aggressive rebounding and extended defense was the difference. We'll need that even more versus the best perimeter team in the country.

Jordan, Sanchez, Branch and Gift all looking more confident. Sampson bursting out of his slump.

This was so much fun to watch I think I'm going to watch it again! Yes, I have no life.

Forced into shortened rotation...less toys to play with...rotation and subs were logical...

Great game...don't want to bash Phil because he has a role and can be a weapon (catch and shoot; pull ups) butLavin has to see that Jordan/Branch make us a tough team...

Maybe that is a good thing. Usually after a team plays a great game they have a letdown. Maybe they only hit 25% of their treys.

You're a 'glass half empty' kind of guy, aren't ya?

No ,no , more branch NO PHILL GREENE

Don't agree about Phil. He's a good shooter and scorer. The difference was more Branch. If it comes down to Branch or Phil, give me Branch, but Greene > Pointer all day as long as Phil doesn't play point.

Yep...in front of every silver lining is a black cloud...

same Butler team that took 5 teams to OT...bottom line...we played well ON THE ROAD...all upside takeaways

Really solid win , great for the team confidence as a whole, a win is always a win but let's not get excited and think our season has turned around. The real test will be Tuesday against creighton who will be ranked this week that would be a huge win for and could turn our whole season around. I think we can beat creighton without a doubt, it will give us out first win against a ranked team as well.

Confidence is building for Jakarr, Jamal, and Jordan every single game and lavin must keep that going . The rotation has been much better and we need to keep it that way . I hope everyone is seeing how much of a cancer phill Greene has been to our team he needs to get 6-10 min a game 10 min max! Lavin must keep playing Jamal esp cause he's not turning the ball over as much. The 3 guard rotation must be Jamal , Jordan, Harrison.

We're still not rebounding the ball well hopefully we can fix that as we are starting to fix a lot of things with our team as a whole. I like what I am seeing now tho great fu*king win !!! Lets go St. John's !!!!

Great response by the team. Awesome to see Branch finally getting minutes and making the most if them the last couple games. I really thought a week or so ago that he wouldn't get this opportunity--one that most of us have been praying for. More Branch, less Dom!

More Branch Less Phil.

Great team effort, also excellent substitutions by Lavin. We got into holding the ball until 6 seconds remained on the shot clock and allowed Butler to rally. After a timeout I was glad to see us move the ball quickly upcourt. Good call by the coach. Maintaining the lead has to help our confidence.
I'm sorry but Hooper's horrendous defense, allowing his man to drive past him, should keep him on the bench. Once again, God's Gift filled in admirably. Obekpa seems to be regressing, no boards, no blocks and no offense.
Happy to see Branch start, thought Lavin kept Greene on the bench, until the announcers mentioned he was sick. Hopefully he'll start Tuesday.
And finally, for all those Jordan critics who believe he was overrated, think again.
Congratulations guys. Don't stop now.
