Nice highlights, but against a Texas State team that went 8-12 in the Sun Belt Conference. Let's wait and see before we have him taking Sima's starting spot ... or even getting big-time minutes. (Geez, I'm starting to sound like Moose.)

He played well against high major opponents. He doesn't have to be a star -- if he can give us Ty Grant's freshman numbers as part of a big man platoon we'll be pretty tough.

The clip shows plenty of what Livingston can do on the blocks though. Boxing out, rebounding and offense around the glass. The opponents talent level not really the point of it, but if you insist... Here's the full game vs Baylor and Rico Gathers-Ismail Wainright. Livingston lead Arkansas state with 20 points, even though they lost.

 
That clip has plenty to see. He can bang, he has the ability to post up, and for a big man with girth, he seems to have a soft touch...lefty no less. He also has experience, and would likely contribute from day 1. He would make us deeper and stronger on the front line, and would hold value in practice to give Sima, Yakwe, and Owens a Big East style body to oppose. If he comes (and I hope he does), I think he will have a well defined role. What we don't see in that particular clip is his ability to post up, draw the defense, and pass. This would be a great pick up.

Livingston looks more like a PF then a Center. Can shoot the 3 which would be nice from a big man. He is also lefty.we could have 4 lefties on the court at the same time. Not sure I have ever seen that before.
