I believe he is 6'11" so now KY could really use Diallo.

@GoodmanESPN: Pitt transfer Durand Johnson told ESPN his list includes West Va, Memphis, Marquette, Miss. St,, St. John's, K-State, La Salle, UCLA, USC.

Kansas and Pitt were also recruiting him so not a great landing spot for us. Would have preferred that he picked one of those 3.

@JonRothstein: Missouri transfer Jonathan Williams III will visit Gonzaga on 5/1-5/3, source told @CBSSports. Averaged 11.9 PPG and 7.1 RPG last season.

If I'm not mistaken, he has two years of eligibility and could play immediately. This would be a good get for us and could make a difference for this season.

Don't like the fact that he got suspended. Red flag IMO.

definitely need some due diligence but the reason was never revealed. They called it an "NCAA suspension" which would suggest academic or eligibility in nature rather than they other types.

Not a great shooter which is what I think Mullin wants in a player with his skill set.

Good shooter and eligible immediately so could definitely help us. I don't think the reason for the suspension was ever released.

Looks like he overlapped with Slice at Pitt. Maybe Slice recruited him. Can't hurt.

He shot 41 percent overall and 36 percent from three in his career. Phil Greene shot 42.6 and 39 his senior year.

He committed in 2010 while Slice was at Manhattan but Slice was there for a year with him so I'm sure he knows him. Hopefully they had a good relationship and he wants to stay on the East coast. I'm sure we could offer immediate playing time on the wing (especially if we don't get Sampson). I'd like to get both if possible and have the flexibility to play small and uptempo. Sheed, Williams, Sampson, Samir, and Johnson would be a solid core of scorers.
