I am keeping an eye on VCU's 2015 commits. Shaka Smart had two 4-star recruits (Tevin Mack -SF and Kenny Williams -SG). Both kids had multiple high major offers. Still, if they decommit, it could be worth kicking the tires.
Neither has commented yet. I would imagine VCU has asked that they meet their new coach before they are granted a release.

Would definitely be worth monitoring but they might follow Smart to Texas if that's an option.

Really depends on the player and the situation. If someone is really unhappy and the player/coach relationship just isn't there, then transferring might be the best option. But if a guy is not getting PT because there's somebody good in front of you, then the best answer is to bust your ass and wait for your opportunity.
I don't think so. This is his 3rd year here. Didn't develop. The PT was there for the taking.@Ben__Asher: RT “@JaredArmstrong_: Kaminsky started just 2 games during his first 2 years at Wisconsin. He didn't transfer. He became the National POY.”

There's hope for Christian Jones.

A better example on our roster would be Amar. He seems like a kid who will work his butt off, not complain and about minutes and become a good player down the line.
The main issue now is you get these kids who are AAU and HS stars with people telling them how great they are. When they don't get the minutes they feel like they deserve, they look for the easy way out instead of working their ass off to get better.

Hard to predict what Amar will do in a year or two---or even a couple of weeks from now---with regard to a transfer. Further, we don't know what kind of playing time he will get. I think CJ was the more apropos comparison.
