Transfers

@GoodmanESPN: Keep being told per multiple industry sources that Florida is in the mix for Michigan transfer Jon Horford.

Obviously his brother went there, but we'll see.

@byron_wesley: I would like to announce that I have decided to graduate from USC this summer and transfer for my final year of college basketball.

SG from Southern Cal & fifth year transfer upon completion of summer classes.

18 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6'5. Do you mind playing small forward Byron?

Based completely on statistics he seems perfect. Near ideal wing size, shoots well from three, and he averaged more boards per game than our NBA hopeful PF, Sampson (6.1). Sign him up.

Oh hai!

@TheRecruitScoop: With Frank Haith leaving Missouri, this leaves questions surrounding commits Namon Wright, Jakeenan Gant, Kevin Punter, Ronnie Suggs, etc.

Gant is ranked #47 in Rivals.

This is how Gonzaga does it with transfers:

Gonzaga has signed Domantas Sabonis, son of former NBA big man Arvydas Sabonis.

The 6-foot-11, 230-pound Sabonis will give the Zags another much-needed front-line player to go along with the backcourt of Kevin Pangos and Gary Bell, who will both be seniors next season. Gonzaga loses Sam Dower but will have Kentucky transfer Kyle Wiltjer eligible next season after he sat out this past season. Coach Mark Few also will have 7-1 junior Przemek Karnowski, who averaged 10.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 2013-14.

The younger Sabonis played for Unicaja of the Spanish ACB league but did not sign a pro contract. His game is unlike that of his father, a big, strong center who passed the ball exceptionally well. Domantas, according to one coach who has watched him play, is "skilled, mobile, tough and aggressive."

At 7-3, Arvydas Sabonis was a dominant player overseas to begin his career and then spent seven seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 12 points and 7.3 rebounds in an NBA career in which he was never quite 100 percent healthy.

Danuel House & Tashawn Taylor finally got their release with 3 restrictions

1) Can't be another Texas school
2) Cant be in the AAC
3) Cant be on Houston's schedule for the next 2 years

This is why the NCAA is a joke and why the unionization of players is such a popular idea. The school, with the blessings of the NCAA, can impose these restrictions on kids but coaches can come and go wherever they'd like with no restrictions.

This deserves its own thread. Big loss for them and the third member of probably the best recruiting class Butler has ever had leaving after just a year. This is also the sixth Butler player to transfer since November! I really liked this kid. 6.8 ppg and 2.2 boards per game. He is the son of Cleveland Cavaliers coach, Mike Brown.

In spite of the awful performance this past season, Butler is a team to watch the next two seasons. I have them pegged for top 3-4 in the league this year, returning four starters and getting a starter from their last Final Four team, Roosevelt Jones, back from a medical redshirt. They will be even better in two years when former McDonald's AA and NC State PG, Tyler Lewis become eligible to play with Jones and Kellen Dunham. They added two nice freshman PFs in this year's recruiting class to help. They also got a pledge from Indiana graduate transfer, Austin Etherington, who will be eligible immediately.

The transfer game will be huge for them. If they land a good five, they can even win the league.

@JonRothstein: Oregon State's Hallice Cooke will transfer, sources told @CBSSports. Three years of eligibility remaining. Story coming.

Jersey City kid;

8.2 point (46% from the field, 45% from 3), 2.6 rebounds & 2.5 assist in 26.3 minutes a game

Could be a good replacement for Phil Greene.

Not a transfer but former recruit may be breaking commitment;

@AdamZagoria: Jared Terrell has asked out of his NLI to Oklahoma State, source confirms to @SNYtv. More later on ZAGS.

Hmm, we were involved for a while. But, Providence and Rhode Island were in his final 4 over us. Wonder if Lavin can get us back in it.

He got his release, think he will end up at Boston college

How how nice of Osu, I'm shocked they were so kind. Doesn't seem to be he trend with schools nowadays.
