Hopefully ST John’s has some accounting majors that played some HS ball.
Looks like Clayton jr and Jenkins are done deal ? Pitino is too savvy too smart and too connected to not have any moves up his sleeve recruiting wise . We really have no idea what he’s working behind the scenes with the Portal . But , there should be no doubts he will put together a competitive team in November

I don’t see any 6’8” plus recruits on the list of players the staff is involved with. This is another challenge that May bite us later.
Iona’s Nelly Junior Joseph is in the portal so that’s always a solid fall back. I’d rather have a MAAC or CAA big man that wants to play in the paint than a top 80 kid who wants to be Durant.

Poor Madison Square Gardner went from the second coming to persona non grata on this board pretty quick. Maybe just maybe, the team he committed two was different then the current team and he just wanted to go elsewhere. OR maybe he was promised X amount of NIL from the collective and RP needed that money to turn St. John's into Iona South
!Either way there are still 10 scholarships to fill. Hopefully, someone will pop soon and it will break the seal.
