For those not liking getting a player from a lower level conference let alone from a non D1 team how about whatformer D2 player and DePaul Blue Demon Max Struss did last night for the Miami Heat. He hit five 3s in the last 4 minutes including a buzzer beater from half court to beat the Dallas Mavericks.

Still don't understand how that DePaul team finished at the cellar of the conference those two years.

Oh that's right, Dave Leitao was their coach.

Max was a terror for us to handle when he was playing at DePaul .

Definitely can score at a high level and pretty efficiently for his volume. He also would among the country's leaders in assists if his teammates could make a shot.

Watched most of his game against Oregon last week and the issue is he doesn't even try on defense. Would be interesting to see how Pitino handles that but hopefully he'd be a faster learner on that end than Dingle

Maybe he and former teammate Glenn Taylor could rub off on each other during practice - Pope become more aggressive on defense and Taylor on offense.

Jay Cuda is one of the best follows on Twitter, mostly tweeting about baseball and other random/off the wall sports stuff. The fact that even he's tweeting about Booker not getting enough burn at MSU shows that either it's absolutely crazy how Izzo is handling him or that Booker has the best and most creative agent in the game. Maybe both.

Regardless, Booker would be a steal especially since he's just scratching the surface of his potential. As Marlo said in The Wire, the price of the brick is going up.

He is so quick. He definitely has the lateral quickness to be a good defender. I think that's a huge difference with Dingle.

I wonder if the effort part is more about conserving energy since he's their only offensive option. Seems like with his dad, he'd also be willing to get coaching from a guy like Pitino.
