Only place I'd say could be tougher than SHU is Butler. DePaul with the new investments will be a pretty good job in no time (hence Holtmann taking it)

Another kid sees someone commit, dislikes the idea of fighting for their role on a team and wants to bolt elsewhere. We can’t do this every single year. Kids should make big dollars. But the way this is set up right now with no contracts or regulations makes it impossible to sustain anything in this sport.”

Gotta be honest. While I hate where the game is going the one person I have no sympathy for is the head coach. They brought this on themselves.
He will pick UConn and be a thorn in our side.
May help us by just having another quality lead guard for top dogs to pursue.

Four solid seasons under a great coach who expects kids to get after it on D. I can think of a school he could slide into seamlessly.
I'd be happy with Hoggard. Excellent assist to turnover ratio.
Seems to be an all around good player. 6’4 is nice.
If I was a betting man (and I’m not), I would bet that if he returns to play college basketball next season, it will be at a school whose coach has a much different temperament than Izzo.
Sounds like Izzo was done with him

And for staff and fans wary of Richmond, Hoggard is a low-maintenance kid. Also tough kid so you can't bully-ball him into ineffectiveness.
